I'm back In Japan (Archive part 2)

Oh, I feel drunk. I feel drunk and jet-lagged. Not a good combination.

Also, I'm very constipated. I went to the toilet about 5 times yesterday, and every time I just shat out a tiny little piece. Took ages to get out.

What should I have? I need my Weetabix.

I need some fiber.

I didn't wash my hands because I used the bidet, the little robot arm that sprays water up your anus. Feels nice.

You don't have to use any tissue either, it just The water sprays out all the poo on your hole,

so I didn't touch anything, so why do I need to wash my hands?

Am I close to Chihiro? Not really. It's about half an hour by train, but the train goes directly to her station, which is pretty cool. The station I'm at is connected directly to her station, no transfers.

Any games I recommend? My number one favorite games— favorite game is Rainbow Six, and recently I've gotten back into XCOM. I played that for hours on the plane. It was really fun.

XCOM's quite good. I still haven't played XCOM 2. I prefer the original. It's just so it's more simple. I prefer when games are simple. When you get to the sequel, they just add all this crap onto it that's not really needed.

And Kingdom Come: Deliverance is pretty good. It's like Skyrim, but there's no magic or monsters, and it's set in Czech Republic, and the story is quite interesting. You're basically this guy who's really dumb and knows nothing, and then you have to train him up to be good at stuff.

And his parents get killed by some Hungarian warlord, and then, uh,

you have to find a sword that was made by his dad. It's quite interesting.

It's relaxing. I'd say it's like, like a simulation game. Makes you feel like you're in— I don't know when it's set, it's like the 1500s or something.

The combat system's a bit annoying. I don't like it. The sword fighting feels weird. It's not like hack and slash. You have to time your, your blocks and your slashes.

I guess it's more strategic than just hacking and slashing. I prefer hacking and slashing, really. I don't like how it feels. You have to choose the direction that you're slashing at and the direction—

no, you have to predict the direction of oncoming attacks and then block them.

My laptop, my wife sold it. She said she sold it for about $1,000. I bought it for $1,800.

Lost a lot of money there, but it's okay. I got a new one. This one's actually a slightly better model, but the screen's smaller. It's a 15-inch screen. My old laptop was a 17-inch, but 15-inch is nice as well because it's easier to carry.

My laptop is so much better than my desktop PC. Rainbow Six plays so smoothly and there's no lag, and switching between windows is almost instant. On my desktop computer, which is about 4 years old now, took ages when you minimize Rainbow Six and it kept stuttering. I had to make sure Streamlabs, Streamlabs and Edge and anything else

had to be closed down whilst I was playing Rainbow Six, otherwise it would be really laggy.

This, this laptop is so much better.

Did I bring the Yeti? No, I left that at home. Don't really need it. I can stream on my phone and the audio sounds fine. And, um, I brought this tiny plug-in mic for the phone, directional shotgun mic. That works pretty well.

I thought you left it at the hotel. I was going to. I decided to bring it back because I thought I'd need it. I do need it in England when I'm streaming. I don't really need it here. Do I live on the Osaka Loop Line? No,

I live nearby a station that's on the Loop Line.

Why don't you do something? Show us around the neighborhood. It's not really that interesting.

All Japanese towns, they all look the same. It's just a bunch of roads and buildings.

You can just go onto Google Maps. If I streamed outside, the quality would be so bad, it would be all pixelated. You'd have a better experience going, going onto Google Maps doing Street View.

I can't wait to go to bed. I'm so sleepy. It's only quarter past 2. What am I gonna do? I might stream for another hour,

maybe another 2 hours, and then I want to play some Rainbow Six. And I want to do some drawing.

I started a new drawing, and the idea is it's this skinny bony guy on all fours on the ground, and then on his back he has a bunch of little guys riding him, and one of them has a fishing rod, and he's kind of like dangling a carrot on a stick in front of the guy, but instead

of a carrot it's YouTube money, you know, the green monetization. And then the guy's on all fours, he's like trying to reach, grab, reach out for the ad revenue.

I think it's a pretty funny idea, and, and it's kind of how I feel when it comes to doing YouTube.

People kept saying my last drawing was um, self-victimization. Because the last drawing, if you saw it on my Instagram, it was a YouTuber in like a wooden booth, and he's sitting there like this looking all depressed. There's a crowd of people swearing at him, pointing at him, laughing at him, and then behind the crowds of people there's

this big woman and she has devil horns.

And then people were being way too serious about it, like a lot of people are when it comes to my content, saying stuff like, oh Daniel, it's your fault people treat you like that. Oh, you're just self-victimizing yourself. You don't have to live like that if you change your attitude. Or you only get that kind of reaction

because of how you are. You put out what you get. Calm down, it's just a drawing I did exaggerating my emotions.

People taking it way too seriously.

It was just something I came up with when I was feeling emotional, and then I just— what's the word— I exaggerated it a bit to make it into an interesting piece of art. Yeah, I know not everyone hates me, and I know people react the way they do to me. Because of how I portray myself. I'm not

stupid.

People keep telling me things as if I don't know them, pointing out really obvious things. I'm not as dumb as people think, okay?

Sometimes I feel emotional and have all these negative thoughts, and yeah, they're not realistic thoughts

and, and they're not rational thoughts, but they're just emotions, you know.

And it's kind of fun putting those emotions into words or into artwork.

Maybe I put too much emotion into my videos. I'm too emo.

Maybe I'll make a coffee. Drinking a beer wasn't a good idea. That just makes me more sleepy.

It's been such a long time since I've done a proper drawing. Last time I did a proper drawing was about 2017, before I came to Japan. I drew— I think I drew myself taking a picture of a very tiny naked woman. I drew a lot of pervy stuff back then, a lot of naked women.

Oh yeah, there's this one drawing I did. It was this big purple humanoid monster thing, and he had a naked woman tied up on a stake, and she was tied up like this, and you could see her boobs and her nips and her pubic hair. And I put it on my Patreon, and Patreon sent me a warning

email saying that I had to set— either set my Patreon to adult only or set the drawing to, to private so only patrons can see it. I ended up taking it down

just because I drew some fake nipples and pubic hair on a cartoon character.

I want to do more sexual artwork.

You should have seen one of my, my old YouTube channels I had around. I used to have a different channel Around 2011, and I used to make these animations on it, these sick animations of fat Asian giant women getting gangbanged by a group of fat bald little guys. It was so funny though, and I'd make them kind

We had this massive argument. We were shouting and swearing at each other. She was saying stuff like, if you make a video about me, I'll disown you. Don't you

And then I was going, I won't make the video then. I was just asking you if it's okay with you. All I'm going to say is you're a bit annoying and you complain a lot. It's nothing serious. I'm just doing it so I can get views. She went absolutely mental.

She really hated that. Video I made called My Mum Is So Annoying. She made me take it down. No one noticed, but I took it down. She said her friends at work watched it and now they think I'm a horrible mum.

She said, why do I have to have a son like you who says horrible things about me? But the reason why I made that video was because she was saying horrible things about me in the first place.

I wasn't saying horrible things. I was just saying that she was saying horrible things to me. That's not saying something horrible. It's like, it's just so weird. It's like, imagine John calls Jack a piece of shit, and then Jack says, John called me a piece of shit, and then

John gets more upset Because Jack just explained what John said to him. Does that make sense?

I didn't say anything horrible about my mum. I just said that she says horrible things to me sometimes

and that it's annoying, which is all true.

But in her eyes, she saw it as me making an attack on her. Weird.

It's a shame because I think my mum has great comedic value, like that angry grandpa guy. I think she would be great as a, as a YouTube character. Can you imagine it? Angry Asian Mum. Be so funny if I just went around secretly filming her when she would go mental, start shouting. People would find that hilarious.

If I could record the arguments we've had and show it to you, You would find it so funny. It is, it's really funny when we have these massive arguments. We, we just swear at each other like, fuck you, I wish you fucking died. It's crazy.

But she's really, um, what's the word? She's really self-conscious about what people think of her. And about looking bad, losing face.

How does it feel to be back in Japan? I don't know. It feels weird. It feels like everything that happened in England, all the hospital stuff with my dad. It was like a dream. Now I'm back here in reality.

It was like some kind of nightmare, and now it's over. I guess it's over. The worst part is over. I don't want to bring everything down, but That moment

was the first time I've ever watched someone die. I can't believe I watched my own dad die right in front of my very eyes. Just watching him take his last breath. Oh, so weird if you think about it. Like, he's my dad. He probably saw me take my first breaths, and then me as the son, I saw

him take his last breaths. It's like the cycle is complete.

It's kind of poetic in a way.

And when you think about it, we're always breathing, aren't we? From the, from the moment we're born, we're breathing every single day, every second we're taking breaths. And then you watch someone take their last breath, and it's like for the first time ever in their life they've stopped breathing.

The whole dying process happens— starts happening so quickly.

It's just so weird. One minute they're alive and then the next they're dead. One minute they're a person and then next minute they're a corpse. So strange. And I was hoping that I'd be desensitized to death since I play so much video games where you kill people and I watch so many violent movies and I watch so

much violent TV where it's just people dying all the time. I thought that I might be a little bit desensitized to it, but I wasn't. It was really strange seeing it

in real life.

And then I touched his hand after he passed. I held his hand, which must have been the first time I ever held his hand since I was a kid. Me and my dad, we never touched each other. I don't remember the last time I touched his hand when he was alive. I touched his hand, I kind of

held his hand, I said, bye, Dad, walked out the room. That was the last time I saw his face.

Very weird experience.

Hmm, it's just strange that now he's just like a memory. He's not a person who's in my life anymore, he's just a memory. It's just weird how someone can go from being a very important person in your life to a memory. So quickly.

I guess it's easier when you're an adult because you're not a kid anymore, and then you're not really dependent on your parents anymore. I think it would be harder when you're a kid and you lose your parent.

I'm glad I had a good stable family when I was growing up. I can't imagine how tough it must be if your parents fought a lot, or if you only had one parent, or you had a violent household. It must be horrible.

I'm really grateful I had a loving, stable family when I grew up.

I had a nice, nice childhood. I had cats, nice home, loving parents. Everything was provided for me, my sister. We always had food on the table, always had electricity, always had the things we wanted.

I guess I owe my parents a lot.

My parents had very tough childhoods. My dad

had a very sad childhood. His parents, they got divorced. His family got split in 2. His mum took him and another one of his brothers away, and his other brothers were left behind with his dad, my granddad. In, in the house that my mum lives in now. That used to be my granddad's house.

And then my mum, I think she had an even worse childhood. She was the youngest of 7 children.

They had no money. She was abused and beaten by her mum,

forced to do all the cleaning, all the cooking. Treated like a slave.

I think that's why my parents kind of spoiled me and my sister, because they had terrible childhoods themselves, so they wanted to give their kids, me and my sister, a good, a good life

where everything was provided and

We were looked after.

Did I speak to my wife? Yes, I met her yesterday. It was really weird seeing her again. It's been 4 months since I saw her, and I thought 100% for sure I was not going back to her and we were done and I was gonna move on. I can't believe I came back.

Now that I think about it, I really admire my dad, everything he did, not just for me and my sister and for my mom, but for for his mum as well.

He redid the house,

made it something— turned it into something beautiful. I was looking at old pictures of my grandmother when she lived with us. I don't really remember it very well because I was about 12 when she moved in with us, and at that time I thought it was kind of annoying having her live with us. I just saw her

as this old woman,

but I never really thought about how she was actually a human being. She had her own struggles.

She had her own problems.

I found it hard

to realize that people have their own lives. And the world doesn't revolve around me. It sounds really stupid,

I can just imagine how motivated my dad must have been moving into my granddad's house. He had 2 young kids, a wife to support, a family to support. He had his, his own mum

to do right by. He had this big house which was all falling apart to fix and repair. He must have woken up every morning feeling feeling so motivated to get things done, to provide for the family.

That must have just felt— I don't know, it must have given him so much purpose in life.

I think that's basically what drives a man, having that kind of responsibility, having kids and a family to provide for.

Having a goal like that must have been such a great goal for my dad, repairing my granddad's house for his own family.

I wish I had a goal like that.

I feel kind of envious of that. I always used to think it was lame. Oh, look at my dad working so hard. I'm glad I'm not like that. I used to think like that, but I don't think like that anymore. Oh, thank you. Nope, nope. I don't mean this in a rude way, but why do you live?

Because I was brought into this world because my parents wanted to have a child, I guess, is The easiest answer.

I don't know. I don't have a purpose of living. That's why I feel so depressed. I think if I had a proper purpose, a real goal to strive for like my dad had, I don't think I'd feel depressed. I think I'd feel motivated. I'd feel like I'd have something that I wanted to and get done.

I think the reason why people feel empty and depressed is because they don't have a goal. They don't have something they want to strive for,

and they don't feel like they have a purpose in the world. So they feel depressed, they just spend all day playing video games.

Why did I remove my previous video? Because I don't think it was a good video. I didn't feel proud about it. People hated it. I was losing subs. It was just a clickbait attempt to get views from Rachel and Jenna fans.

I think for some reason I was just really put off by the idea of working hard. I saw my dad working really hard every day and I saw it as a bad thing. I saw it as, oh, look at my poor dad working so hard. I don't want to become like that. I want to be lazy and

not do anything.

But I was wrong. Working hard isn't necessarily a bad thing,

but I've always associated working hard with negative thoughts.

Because it's hard, isn't it? It's easier to just not do anything and sit around. It's hard work doing hard work. If it was easy, then it wouldn't be hard. That's the most profound thing I've ever said.

But then I forget, I forget the, the fact that there's satisfaction that comes from doing hard work, and that satisfaction that I'm missing out on because I refuse to do hard work. Oh, thank you Lazy Face for the $2.

I feel satisfaction when I finish a drawing.

I don't feel satisfaction when I make a shit video. Sometimes I make a good video which I feel a bit proud of,

but not recently. I feel like recently my videos are shit. I'm not proud of my videos. I don't think they're good. I don't put work into them.

I don't watch them back and think, wow, I made a really good video. I just make shit content. I wish I could make good stuff about something I'm interested in, something I can put passion into.

Do I edit videos on my phone or iPad? I edit on my phone

because it's so difficult getting files from an Android phone onto an iPad. There's no easy way to send it over. I used to use a card reader and an SD card, but it doesn't work on the iPad. It works on my iPhone.

The good thing is I don't have to pay for electricity, so I can use all all the electricity I want, unlimited Wi-Fi.

So what could I do to achieve satisfaction in life?

I think what I need to do is I need to make something that I'm proud of.

But I can't make money off my drawings. I'd love it if I could make money.

No one wants to buy a drawing. No one's gonna pay me to do a

drawing unless I make a website and I put my drawings onto the website. And then I put ads on the website, and then I, I advertise the website on my channel to get people to go over there. Then I could get some AdSense, I guess.

Or maybe I could sell high-resolution files of the artwork, but then if you really wanted it, you could just right-click and press download. Save image as.

I don't want to do commissions. I don't like drawing for other people. I want to draw what I want to draw, not what other people want me to draw.

Maybe it'd be nice if people just wanted to— I don't know, actually.

I feel like a beggar.

Maybe I could print out the drawings and put them in a frame. No, too much effort.

Put them on a shirt, sell shirts as merch.

I just don't think people want to buy my art. My artwork, my artwork, my artwork. People would want to see it,

but they don't want to pay for it. I wouldn't want to pay for artwork either. I don't want to pay just so I can see someone's art. That'd be stupid.

I think I should just concentrate on making good drawings, have fun doing it, and not worry about making money off it. When you start just obsessing over how can you make money by doing something, then you're not doing it for the right reasons. You should be doing something because you like doing it, not because of how much

money you can make from it.

Have I gotten Procreate? Yeah, I spent £10 to get Procreate. It's really good. It's the best drawing app I've ever used. It's so nice to use.

It does everything I need it to do, and it's very simplified, not, not overly complex or technical.

I love how it just clips on here, it just attaches magnetically.

See, and then it charges up at the same time. On the previous generation of iPads, you had to plug it into the charging socket and it would just stick out. It looked really stupid, like a massive ping pong bat.

Such a great idea, just magnetically attach it here. And it also has this cool feature where If you double tap, it switches between different tools. So you're drawing using the paintbrush, and then you double tap it and it switches to the eraser. Tap it again, switches back. It's so nice.

And the whole iPad is attached to the case by magnets. I think the previous iPad was as well, but I had a cheap— I had a cheap crappy case with my old iPad where it clipped in with plastic bits on the corner. But this, this is the Apple, the Apple case, Smart Case, and then the entire iPad

just attaches to it magnetically, and it's really strong. It, it keeps, keeps it in place. It doesn't fall off.

I might buy XCOM on it. I think XCOM would be really good on the iPad. I have it on Android. I guess I have to buy it again on iOS.

You want an update on my wife? Um, we met yesterday, then we had sex, and then I stayed the night at her place, and then she went to work and I came back to my Airbnb. And that's it really.

You don't have that problem in Japan because you need to buy a ticket to get on the train. If you don't have a ticket, then you can't get past the barriers unless you jump over them. If they said barriers at the train station,

but then you need a person at the train station Usually the train stations in England, they don't have any people working there. There's usually one guy selling tickets in the morning, but then he leaves after 10, and then between 10 or 11—

after 10 or 11 during the day, there's no one manning the train station. So even if they had ticket barriers, you could just jump over them, no one would know.

I'm talking about the train stations in— outside of cities.

I don't have anything against them not wanting to pay the ticket. I just hate it when they get caught and then they start complaining about it. If you get caught, then just deal with it. I used to get on the train without paying all the time when I was going to the job center, but I'd be clever

about it. If I saw the train ticket collector man coming, I'd quickly get off the train and then walk the rest of the way.

It was pretty exciting. Actually, I remember coming home from the job centre and I didn't have a ticket,

and my heart would start pounding as the train was getting closer to my stop. My heart would start pounding, wondering if I could get away with it. And then I could hear the ticket collector man coming. I could hear his voice, tickets please. And I'd be like, oh shit, he's coming. Come on, hurry up! And then the

train would stop at the station. I'd quickly open the door and walk very quickly before he got to me.

Sometimes he got to me before the train stopped. There was one time it was just about to stop and he got to me, and then I had to pay. So close to getting away with it.

One time they caught me and the train security people were at the train station at Maidstone. They made me pay £20.

I gave them a fake address so I didn't have to pay it. I said I didn't have— I don't have any money on me. And then you have to fill out this form, put your address on it. You just put a fake address on it and they can't find you. What are they gonna do?

It was like a game. It's not that I didn't have the money to pay for it. I had money to pay for a ticket, but it was more fun trying to get away with not paying it.

Put me in such a good mood when I got off the train without paying. Yes, I just got the train for free.

I used to walk to Maidstone sometimes. Took me about 2 hours to walk. It was about 8 miles. And one time I rode my bicycle to Maidstone. Took me about 50 minutes. Nearly killed me. It was so tiring going up those hills. I thought I was gonna black out.

I had to get off the bike and walk for some of it because I was just too tired. I thought I was going to collapse.

then he turned to me and he shouted at me. I said, Microwave my sandwich! I didn't even know he was talking to me at first, and he said it in a really rude way, not in a polite way.

it word for word, even completely copied his intro. Not a single person noticed.

Oh, I remember. I really want to make a video about Star Wars Galaxies.

It's something that I'm interested in because it's something I played when I was teenager. I really want to reminisce, but I don't think most of you guys would care. I don't think it would get good views.

My guild leader has a YouTube channel, but it only has about 15 subs. I might give him a shout out, but he's not uploading anymore.

Ah, Star Wars Galaxies, such a great game.

You could do anything. You just get started off with a character level 1, and then you could become a Jedi or a fighter or a soldier, or you could become a farmer or a merchant and then set up your own shops. You could set up your own farm on some planet, build your own house.

My favorite thing to do was become a bounty hunter, and then you get contracts to hunt down player Jedis. And then you have to hunt them down and kill them, and then you get a huge amount of money— credits.

It was so satisfying because it was really difficult killing a Jedi if they are an experienced Jedi. You'd have pretty much no chance to take them down, but if they're a new Jedi who just started then they were pretty easy to take down, but then you get less money. And sometimes you could team up with other bounty

hunters who have the same contract and then team up to take down the Jedi.

I miss that game.

I miss the social aspect of it, playing with people, having friends, teaming up to, to do something, building a little community. Little town.

I want to play a game like that again where you build stuff.

Some kind of sandbox MMO would be fun,

Why did my wife give up the bigger apartment? She said she didn't like that side of town, and it's too big and too sad. All the memories that we had there.

I have to say, her new apartment is so much better though. It's a bit smaller,

I don't even know why we moved. I think a one-room apartment is enough, enough room for us because she's always at work anyway. She works 6 days a week,

Why would we need multiple rooms? So we could sit in one room separately? It was supposed to be so that I wouldn't run away

to a hotel when we had an argument, but I nearly did. Because before my dad got sick, remember Kanaito exposing me and Tomoko's screenshots? We had a big argument about that, and I nearly packed my stuff and left, but But she stopped me. She said, you promised not to leave me.

And she stopped me from walking out again. And then my mum messaged me the next day saying, your dad's sick. Oh, I can't believe it actually happened. Just going back, rethinking, replaying it in my mind. She sent me a message saying, your dad's sick. Then she sent me this video of him in bed He was curled up

in a ball. His face was all scrunched up. He must have been in so much pain.

I thought, oh, he's just sick again. This happens all the time. He'll be fine. And then she sent me a video of the ambulance. I thought, oh shit, an ambulance. This isn't normal. Is he gonna be okay? And then she showed me another video of him lying in the bed and the nurses were setting up this heart

rate machine next to the bed.

And then she sent me another message saying they took him away in the ambulance to the hospital. Wow, this is actually pretty serious.

And then she sent me a video of him in the hospital. He must have been pretty irritated. Having some— having my mum videotaping him.

But I was kind of glad she did because I wanted to see.

So I still thought he should be fine.

He's in hospital now. They, they'll be able to fix him. Then my sister messaged me saying that The doctors have bad news. He has multiple organ failure. His liver is shutting down. He probably won't make it. Then me and my wife, we quickly booked a ticket, plane tickets the next day to England, packed everything,

arrived at London. My sister arranged a taxi to pick us up. Went straight to the hospital.

We got lost in the hospital, then my sister found us. My sister was crying. She walked over to me and then we hugged. She took us to the room. My uncle was there and my cousins Alex and Melissa. Hadn't seen them for years.

I shook my uncle's hand. I said, it's nice to see you again. It was. It must have been over 10 years since I last saw him.

And then the doctor, the senior doctor, took us into a little room to give us a chat. The doctor said basically his liver is shutting down.

We're trying our best, but if his heart stops, we're not going to give him CPR because it will be undignified and it probably won't do anything.

So if his heart gives out, we're just going to let him pass. He said he has a 50% chance that he could get better, So I thought, well, 50% is pretty good.

They said they put him into an induced, medically induced coma, and then for the next 2 weeks he was basically in a coma,

not really any improvements. But then after about a week, they said that he was getting better, everything was getting better.

They said his liver is starting to slowly recover and he's stepping, taking steps in the right direction.

And we, we were all so happy, we celebrated, went to a Turkish restaurant.

We thought he was going to be fine. The doctors were telling us he's getting better, he's making improvements. And then he woke up from the coma, and we were so happy he was awake looking at us. He was kind of delirious. He was laughing,

he was smiling and saying, oh, I must be really ill,

like he didn't really understand fully what was happening. And then he would start getting really distressed, and he was, he was mouthing, I want to go home, over and over again. We kept telling him, you can't go home, you're really ill.

It must have been like torture for him. Can't move, can't speak.

That was Sunday. He was looking pretty good. His color was coming back to his face. He was kind of alert. And then Monday came. We went to see him on Monday and he was kind of out of it. And the doctor just said, oh, he's, he's just tired because we were doing physiotherapy. Tuesday came, he wasn't even

awake. He was like half awake. His eyes would open, then he would just close them again.

Wednesday, I didn't go to the hospital because me and my mum had this massive argument.

And then around 10 PM, 11 PM Wednesday evening, the hospital phoned us, said that he's taken a turn for the worse and he probably won't make it and we should come straight away.

My uncle drove us to the hospital.

We all rushed in.

The door was open to his room and we were panicking. Why were the doors open? Where have they taken him? My sister wasn't there, she was in London. I had to message her to tell her.

Me and my wife went— walked out to the train station to meet her halfway.

We walked back together. I explained what was happening to my sister.

He seemed normal when we got to the hospital on that Wednesday night.

He looked the same. He was just lying there. Heart rate was normal, machines were normal.

And then about an hour passed, and then everything just went downhill.

They took us into a room and said that he's on maximum dosage. For everything. That's the maximum they can give him. They can't possibly give him anything else, and he's still not showing any signs of improvement.

And they said since he's on maximum dosage and he's getting worse, there's nothing they can do, so there's no point continuing it. It would just draw out his death.

And they told us they're going to start turning things off.

They took things—

well, the kidney machine was already shutting down by itself. They didn't unplug the kidney machine. The kidney dialysis thing just stopped working. He said his circulation's so bad even the kidney dialy— Dialysis machine can't do anything to help him. The blood's just not moving around.

And then his heart rate was going down and down and down. And then they started turning off the machines. They pumped the food out of his stomach from his nose.

And then his breathing started to get slower and slower. And he got more and more pale.

Then he died.

Unbelievable.

How could you go from getting better, showing improvements, and then just you get one more infection and then the whole game's over? They said he got another infection and he got pneumonia. And the sepsis started happening again. And basically all his organs started shutting down again after they— after all the improvement they started to make, they started

shutting down again.

It was just so much all at once: pneumonia, multiple organ failure, sepsis, infections. He couldn't handle it.

Well, what more can you say? There's no point replaying it in your mind over and over again. Completely pointless.

Well, I guess I'm having a nightmare again tonight. That's what happens when you start thinking about it too much.
