Can we trust The Anime Man

Joey Bazinga, also known as The Anime Man,

is a fairly popular YouTuber who, who

makes videos talking about anime and

anime-related video games. In today's

video, we are going to be investigating

Joey Bazinga and exposing how he

manipulates and deceives his audience in

order to make more money.

The Anime Man has approximately 1.2

million subscribers, and he averages

around 100,000 to 200,000 views per video.

I used to like watching The Anime Man. I

used to watch his videos now and then,

even though I have absolutely zero

interest in anime. I used to watch him

because I liked his personality. I thought

he was interesting, and he had a cool

hairstyle. However, ever since the

adpocalypse started, I feel like he's not

being 100% honest with us, and I feel like

something fishy is going on. Nearly every

YouTuber, including Joey, have been

constantly whinging and moaning about

things like demonetization and how much

money they're losing, which is fine. They

have every right to complain about how

much money they're losing. It's their job,

it affects their livelihood. But the thing

that bothers me about Joey is when he

makes statements like this: Demonetization

and the shitty algorithm has gotten to the

point where I legitimately have to start

planning for bigger Different career

choices from next year. I knew YouTube

wasn't gonna last forever for me, but it's

always a little sad to think about. So I

think that what he's saying is basically

because of demonetization, he's not making

enough money on YouTube to be able to make

it his full-time job. I find it very hard

to believe that he doesn't make enough

money on YouTube to be able to do it

full-time. Now, I'm not boasting about

this, but I make enough money on YouTube

to be able to support myself, and I only

have 7,000 subscribers, and I only get a

few thousand views per video. His channel

has 1.2 million subscribers, and he gets

between 100,000 to 200,000 views per

video. His videos get 100 times more views

than my videos do, so he must be earning

at least triple, maybe even 5 times,

maybe even 10 times more money than I'm

earning on my videos. So there's no way

that he's not making enough money to be

able to do YouTube as his full-time job.

Now, I know he mentioned demonetization.

But that also happens to me. Every single

one of my videos gets demonetized for

about a day or 2, but after a day or 2,

it gets set back to monetized and it

continues making money. Sure, it's

annoying to lose a day or 2's worth of ad

revenue, but it doesn't mean you're losing

100% of the ad revenue. I'm going to tell

you how much money I made on YouTube in

the past month, and it's up to you if you

want to believe me or not. I could give

you a photo, an image screenshot of the

analytics page, but I could have

photoshopped that, and I think it's

against Google's rules to show the

analytics page. So I made $522

in the past month. Now I know that's not a

lot, and I'm not saying that I make a lot

on YouTube. I'm saying that I make enough

on YouTube to be able to support myself.

And yeah, I don't lead an extravagant

lifestyle. My rent is cheap, I don't eat

out, I cook my own food. And there's no

way that The Anime Man is making less

money than I am. When he has 1.2 million

subscribers. Now, I don't know what kind

of lifestyle The Anime Man leads. Does he

live in some kind of mansion in the middle

of Tokyo? Does he go to restaurants every

single day? I reckon he's at least making

a few thousand dollars every single month,

and I don't believe it. I don't believe

that he's struggling for money. I don't

believe that he's struggling to make

enough money to be able to do YouTube as a

full-time job. I think that he's just

pretending that he's struggling for money

just so that people pity him. And give him

donations and donate to him on Patreon.

And I hated to do this, I really didn't

want to do this, but Patreon is looking

like an option right now because— Oh, I

bet it looks like an option. I bet it

looks like a big fat juicy money-filled

option. So this is The Anime Man's Patreon

page, and he currently has 361 patrons.

And oh, what's this? What a surprise,

he's hidden the amount of money that he

gets on Patreon. Usually there should be a

figure next to Patreon showing how much

money he gets from his patrons. But

there's also an option to hide this

figure, and well, would you look at that,

he's hidden it because he doesn't want

people to know how much money he's making

on Patreon. But why would he hide how much

money he gets on Patreon? Maybe it's

because he's making thousands of dollars

on it and he's actually not struggling for

money at all, and he has no plausible

reason that he can't do YouTube as a

full-time job. Now if we have a look at

our good old friend Ben Dean's Patreon,

we can see that he only has 71 patrons,

but he hasn't hidden the amount of money

he makes on it. He makes $422 a month.

Now, The Anime Man, on the other hand, he

has 5 times more patrons, so it would be

safe to assume that he makes 5 times more

money than Ben Dean does on Patreon. So 5

times $400, that's about $2,000. It's safe

to say that he's making at least $2,000 on

Patreon, probably even more because he has

different rewards that cost more money.

Joe also has other jobs such as streaming

games on Twitch, doing voice acting,

model So what's the deal, Joey? How can

you say that you're not making enough

money from YouTube to be able to do it as

your full-time job when you're obviously

making at least a couple thousand dollars

every single month? If I can do YouTube as

my full-time job when I'm only making $500

a month, then you have no excuse not to be

able to do so as well. When it comes to

money, Joey is very sensitive about this

topic, as you can see in this video that

he made where he basically complains about

People asking him how much money he makes,

and then he tells us that it's none of our

business. Concerning a topic that I think

every single YouTuber hates to talk about.

Actually, I love talking about it because

I have nothing to hide, unlike you. And

that's money. So yeah, it's a really

annoying topic. It's not that annoying.

It's actually more annoying when you make

a 5-minute video and you don't actually

answer the question. But all the time I

get asked by people How much money do you

make on YouTube? And to that question I

say, who the fuck cares?

Well, obviously the people who asked the

question care, otherwise they wouldn't

have asked the question in the first

place. But concerning how much money I

make should be none of your fucking

business. That's a bit rude, isn't it? If

it wasn't for us watching your videos in

the first place, you wouldn't even make

any money on YouTube. You at least owe us

the decency of telling us roughly how much

money you make. Even if they did tell you

how much money they make on an annual

basis, why do you need to know? No one

needs to know. They just want to know

because they're curious. Why is that

information important to you?

People don't want to know this information

because it's important to them. They want

to know because they're curious. You don't

need to know any of the digits because who

gives a shit? Like I said before, the

people who ask the question give a shit.

Otherwise, they wouldn't have asked the

question in the first place. I'll never

understand why some people like The Anime

Man get so sensitive about this subject.

Why don't they want people to know how

much money they make? Are they

embarrassed? Do they feel guilty for

making so much money just by making

cancerous videos about anime? It's like

one of those other stupid questions that

people get upset about, like asking a girl

how much she weighs. At the end of the

day, these are just numbers and People

care too much about numbers. They care too

much about what society will think of them

if they reveal these numbers. Here's what

you need to understand, Joey. Doing

YouTube shouldn't be about making money.

Obviously, making money is important. We

all need money to live, to pay for rent,

to pay for food. But if the reason why you

started YouTube in the first place was to

make as much money as you possibly could,

then maybe you should just stop doing

YouTube. Think back when you first started

doing YouTube. What motivated you? Why did

you want to make videos? Was it just

because of money? No, there was something

else, wasn't there? You had passion. You

wanted to create something. You wanted to

create something that other people could

enjoy. Somewhere along that line, you lost

that passion and you became focused solely

on making as much money as you possibly

could. You ended up spending every day

checking the analytics page to see if you

made more money on today's video compared

to yesterday's video. You became a hollow,

empty shell of your former self,

obsessing over numbers. Numbers that

aren't really that important in the grand

scheme of things. Joey, here's some advice

for you from a fellow YouTuber. Find your

passion. It's still out there somewhere.

Trust me. Just retrace your steps. You can

get it back. You can get back the passion

you once had for making videos. YouTube

doesn't have to be just about money all

the time. Let go of your feelings. Search

your mind, and you'll find inner peace

once again. You can do it, Joey. I know
