Noodle Review - Super noodles CHOW MEIN flavour

Hello and welcome back to cooking.

Today we're going to be making super

noodles in a packet. These look really

old. This package looks really faded and

old. Well, it should be fine, and we're

going to use a saucepan, runner beans,

and bacon to make it taste more

interesting. So it's been a few days since

I made a video on this channel. That's

because I've been a little bit busy in

London. There's so much I want to tell you

about. Certain things I can't talk about,

so I won't say anything about those things

that I can't talk about. But I'll try and

tell you the things that I can talk about.

That was a really stupid sentence. But

first, we have to make the noodles. Ah,

to get the boring bit of the video out of

the way, I guess. So first of all, open

your package— packet.

Whoa, where's the sauce powder?

Chinese chow mein. Is it chow mein or is

it chow mein? My mum pronounces it

as chow mein, but English people call it

chow mein. Maybe my mum

knows better since she's actually— well,

she's not really Chinese. She's kind of

Chinese but not really, if you know what I

mean. And then we have to put in

the boiling water, and then we'll put in

the bacon and the other, other other

Why is it so dirty? Look at this stain.

Okay, give your stovetop a quick wipe.

And then we'll put the water, and then

I think it's because I put water onto the

top. That's not a good idea. I've broken

Okay, so I'll tell you what happened in

London. I met this Dutch girl. Maybe you

know about her. I'm not sure if I talked

about her before. I didn't really say much

about her before because at the time I was

more interested in these other girls.

Well, I was supposed to meet her in Korea.

She was going to come to Korea and we were

going to meet there, but since I left

Korea because of the you-know-what, um, I

didn't think we were going to meet. She

was going to go to Korea anyway Even

though you know what was spreading. But

her plane got cancelled, and then she

messaged me asking if she could come and

visit me in England, and I said sure. And

then she came to England, and then we met

in London. Is that the postman? Yes, it

is. Let's hide.

And we met in London yesterday— actually,

2 days ago— and it was so much fun. We

went to a trampoline park. Never been to a

trampoline park before. And then we went

to Korean barbecue, which was— it was

okay, it wasn't great. And then we went to

karaoke, which was not very good because

they didn't have any of the songs we

wanted to sing. She wanted to sing Korean

songs and I wanted to sing My Chemical

Romance. They had neither. And then

something really weird happened. I'm not

sure if I can tell you. Um, I'm not sure

if I can tell you what happened in

karaoke. I'll have to check with her to

find out if it's okay to tell you. Next,

add your bacon like this.

Bacon's always good, good for

Oh, it takes ages. Just put the whole

thing in and then get your runner beans.

And you want to cut off the ends.

I'm cutting off the ends now,

you just can't see it. And then we'll just

toss those into the top like that.

Anyway, we had a lot to drink, quite a lot

to drink, and things went very, very well.

And I ended up staying the night in

London. I just got back yesterday, and

she's actually coming here to stay the

night today.

And, um, yeah, I made a video when we went

to the trampoline park, and she gave me

permission to show her face, so I'll

upload that maybe tomorrow or today. She

wants to— she wants to check the footage

first before I upload it. So I'll edit it

with her when she comes. And I've got a

load of beer. She likes beer, so I got

some beer. And you won't believe how rude

the Amazon guy was. I got more beer here.

So I got some Hoegaarden, I got this

Italian beer. The Amazon guy was so rude.

My mum opened the door. Because I was

upstairs when he rang the doorbell. And

you know how Amazon, they have to check—

they have to verify your date of birth if

they're selling— they're handing over

alcohol? I don't know if this is cooked.

Well, he asked my mum her date of birth,

and my mum was confused because she didn't

know why he was asking her date of birth.

And she just asked him, why do you need to

know my date of birth? And then he started

getting all snappy. He said, Look, I don't

want to argue. If you don't want to tell

me your date of birth, then I'll just take

it back, okay? He was really rude like

that. And then he said,

look, I had a really hard day today, so

don't give me this. He was like really

mouthy to my mum. Couldn't believe it. My

mum wasn't arguing with him. She was just

asking him why he was asking for her age.

How hard is his job anyway? He just sits

in a van, drives up and down. Handing over

boxes to people. It's not like he's the

Prime Minister. Had a hard day.

Who cares if you had a hard day? We're the

bloody customer. You don't start being

rude to us like that. If I could report

him, I would, but I don't know how to. I

guess it doesn't really matter. Maybe we

should just forget about it. Maybe he did

have a hard day. I mean, who knows? Maybe

his wife is in hospital or something. So

yeah, I was a bit annoyed with the Amazon

delivery guy. I don't know why he was

being so aggressive to my mum. And then my

mum shouted at me because she said, stop

buying rubbish off Amazon. It's not

rubbish, it's beer. Beer for me and the

Dutch girl when she comes. We need

something to drink, don't we? Uh, what was

I saying before that? Forgot now.

Yeah, so she's coming over here to stay

the night. Maybe even more nights. That

would be nice. I'm not sure how long, how

many days she's going to stay. She said

one night, but who knows, it might change.

So I have to go to the train station at 4

PM to go and pick her up.

But before I go and meet her, I have to go

to the dentist. My dentist is at 2 PM.

Um, I should be fine. Have to brush my

teeth again after I finish eating this.

The appointment's going to be about 15

minutes, and then I'll just hang around in

Maidstone for a few hours. Maybe I'll buy

some food or do some shopping. Then I'll

come back home and then wait at the train

station for her and then bring her back

here. It should be fun. I've never really—

well, I have actually brought my ex-wife

back here, didn't I? I was going to say I

never brought back a girl. Well, let's

just say that I've never brought back a

girl here who's younger than me. And that

I actually find attractive. So it's my

first time ever. I was a bit worried,

worried if my mum would be okay with it,

but she should be fine because my sister

brings back boys all the time and no one

ever complains. So how come I'm not

allowed to? My sister started

bringing boys back when she was around 14.

So how do I eat this? I don't want to

bring it over here and then Spill it.

So yes, I am quite excited for today.

Hopefully everything at the dentist's goes

okay and they won't start drilling my

mouth. I think I've taken quite good care

of my teeth considering I haven't been to

the dentist in about 16 years, so

hopefully they don't find really serious

problems.

Hmm,

not bad actually.

Tastes like Chinese food.

What time is it now? Oh, so I'm leaving

soon to go to the dentist.

Maybe I'll buy some new clothing. I don't

know. I spent a lot of money in London.

Spending a lot of money recently,

actually. I should stop.

And about Sweden, I know I did a

livestream and the donation goal was to go

to Sweden, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna

muscles are aching. When I cough, it

really hurts my stomach.

And London was so empty. Trains were so

empty. London Victoria Station was so

empty. It was kind of sad.

London Victoria still reminds me of my

dad. I used to be really scared of going

to London. I think the first time I had to

go was when I took my Japanese proficiency

test exam. I was about 19, I think I was

20, and my dad

went with me. Yeah, we all went together

as a family and they dropped me off to do

And I remember London Victoria always used

to be really intimidating. It seemed like

it was massive and it seemed really

confusing. My sister and

my dad would do all the planning and

the you know, finding out where

we had to go. And then getting home seemed

really complicated. They had to look at

all these timetables and then look for our

station and then find out which platform

it's arriving at. And I thought it was

really confusing and difficult. It's

really easy though. I came home by myself

yesterday and it was— it wasn't scary or

difficult at all.

I feel like I get scared and intimidated

by really stupid things, and then I

realize that really it's not intimidating

or scary at all. Then I feel kind of

I think these noodles are quite good,

better than the cup noodle Super Noodles.

I think Super Noodles are best when you

cook them in a pan or a pot like this.

And then you can add other things to it.

I'm not sure what we're gonna do when she

comes here. It'll be nice. I'm actually

looking forward to it. It's always

been one of my dreams to bring back a girl

back to my home and then just hang

out. And show her around. I'll show her

the pond. My dad's pond. I looked at the

pond yesterday and it was full of these

weird little reptile lizard things.

They're really small, like this big. They

look like fish, but they've got legs. I'm

not sure what they are. They're like tiny

little crocodiles. There's loads of them.

Maybe they're newts. I think they're

newts.

Yeah, about Sweden. I know I did a

livestream with a donation goal going to

Sweden, but I'm not sure if I'm going

anymore because I kind of like this

Dutch girl. I don't know if she feels the

same way. And you know, the thing

spreading around is also making it

difficult to travel anywhere. I was gonna

go to Spain, but now Spain's completely

locked down, so dodged a bullet there.

And the Spanish girl doesn't even talk to

me anymore, so I don't know what happened

Maybe she's busy since she's a nurse.

I might secretly record the audio for the

I'm not sure if I need fillings. If I

needed a filling and I had a cavity,

wouldn't I know because it's painful? I

don't feel any pain.

And then my sister's coming home on Friday

because her entire office got closed down.

Everywhere's getting closed down because

of the you-know-what. It's funny, people

kept telling me, oh, you should get a real

job because YouTube is so unstable. Look

at all these people now losing their jobs

and all these businesses shutting down.

YouTube isn't looking so unstable now, is

think it's going to be I think things are

going to get pretty bad for a few months

at least. It's an exciting time to be

alive in. I think it's exciting to witness

this happening real time.

I don't remember anything as exciting as

this happening in my life when it comes to

world events. You know, there was the Twin

Towers in America, but I was only

about 8 or 9 at the time. I don't even

remember it happening.

Yeah, I'm having a good time in England.

Glad I came back. Imagine if

I didn't come back. I'd be stuck in Korea,

and then a Dutch girl couldn't— wouldn't

be able to come to Korea and meet me. And

then I wouldn't have met her until much,

much later,

and I would have just become more and more

depressed stuck in Korea.

Yeah, I think things are going well for me

right now.

Touch wood. Try not to jinx it.

Maybe we'll do a livestream together when

she comes. I asked her if she'd be

interested in doing it. She said yes. She

didn't say no. She, she thought it was

funny. It'd be funny if I just turn on the

livestream and then it's just her sitting

there, no explanation, and then

People can— people can be all surprised

and they can say, who's that? Who's that

girl? Where's Daniel?

Maybe we'll drink beer as well. Drunken

livestream with the Dutch girl.

Well, I'm gonna finish my meal. And then I

have to brush my teeth. I want to make

sure they're really clean so I don't gross

out the dentist.

And then I have to go and meet her at the

train station, bring her back here,

and yeah, see how it goes.
