[2023-02-12] Why the Police came to my House last Summer [NdRfRSb-Zgw]

Something kind of strange happened last

summer when I was back home in the UK.

I've mentioned it a few times on stream,

so some of you might have already heard

this story, but I decided to make it into

a video. So basically, the police came to

my house last summer because of something

I said on a livestream involving horses.

It was a hot summer's day, and I was just

in my bedroom playing video games,

watching YouTube like I usually do, and

then I hear a ding dong from the doorbell.

And I look out the window, I see a police

car, and I think to myself, that's kind of

weird. I didn't call the police and the

police never come to our house. I thought

maybe they came because of something with

our neighbors. We have these Irish

neighbors and they're usually causing

problems, and the police do come over to

their place now and then. So I just

thought they came because of something to

do with the Irish neighbors. I didn't

answer the door because I don't usually

answer the door to anyone apart from

Amazon deliveries, and I don't actually

have to answer the door to the police. I

don't think I have any legal obligation to

let the police inside of the house unless

they have a search warrant. That's what I

learned from watching a lot of CSI and

crime shows. So I ignored the doorbell

thinking, well, this definitely doesn't

have anything to do with me. Why would the

police be interested in talking to me? So

I ignore it, and then I see on my camera

the policeman's walking around the garden

and looking for my mum. My mum and her

boyfriend are in the garden doing a

barbecue. So the policeman finds them,

and then I hear the door open downstairs,

and I can hear my mum's voice, and I can

hear A man's voice, and at that point I

thought, oh crap, he does want to talk to

me. My mum starts calling for me and

starts saying, Daniel, what have you done?

The police want to talk to you. I go down

the stairs and waiting at the bottom of

the staircase is the policeman, and he

says he wants to have a chat with me. My

knees start shaking. I could remember that

my knees and my legs were trembling

because I was so nervous. I've never had

to talk to the police before, apart from

when I worked at the petrol station and

sometimes had to serve them coffee and

doughnuts. In my entire life, I've never

gotten into any trouble. With the police,

so I was pretty nervous and anxious about

what was going to happen with this

conversation. So the first thing he says

to me is, don't worry, you're not in any

trouble. I'm just here to have a chat with

you about your livestreams. So I think he

could tell I was pretty nervous, and he

said that to try and make me relax a

little bit. Apparently someone reported

one of my livestreams for something I said

about horses. The policeman said that they

got some reports from someone complaining

about something I said about horses, and

this report was made last winter, so it

took nearly half a year for this reports

to actually process in their system and

for him to come to my house. I don't

really remember exactly what I said about

horses, but I definitely do remember

saying some weird things about horses in

an old livestream back in 2021 when I was

living in Manchester. I think I said

something like horses' backsides kind of

look like women's backsides if you lift up

the tail. The policeman didn't say

specifically what I said or if it was

wrong or if I should never say it ever

again or I will be in trouble. He just

said that they analyzed the clip and they

could tell that it was just me joking

around and being silly. And the video clip

was taken out of context. Maybe I might

have said something else about horses,

but it happened such a long time ago, and

I say a lot of things. Most of the time

I'm just messing around. So I said to the

policeman that I would never have

relations with a horse in that way, and it

was just some silly troll hater trying to

cause me problems. He said he just wanted

to come and have a chat and ask me about

it, and now that he sees that I'm a nice

normal kid, everything's fine. I thought

it was kind of weird he kept calling me a

kid even though I'm pretty sure I'm older

than he was. He looks like he was in his

late 20s, and I'll never get used to

English people constantly saying that I

look like a kid or a teenager, or thinking

I'm younger than I am when I'm actually

nearly 34. I thought the whole thing was

just so weird. I can't believe the police

would actually waste time coming all the

way to my house just to have a meaningless

chat over something that I'm not even in

trouble over. And it was just like some

silly clip from a Twitch or YouTube

livestream that happened almost half a

year ago. So I don't really know what the

goal of the visit was. Was it to come and

have a chat with me, see if I'm nice and

normal? Normal or not. I mean, what if I

wasn't nice and I wasn't normal? I don't

think I'm very normal. I must have seemed

very awkward and nervous to talk to. You

would think if I did nothing wrong, then

there would be no reason to come and talk

to me. We had like a 30-second chat. It

wasn't really long, and from that he

determined that I was nice and normal and

there was nothing to worry about. And all

of that just because I compared the

appearance of an animal to a woman. It was

pretty embarrassing having to explain to

my mum what happened. I just told her that

I said something about horses on a

livestream, and then we all had a good

laugh about it because it was kind of

funny, I guess. Although it is a bit

concerning and kind of strange the police

can just come to your house over something

you say on a livestream, even if it's

something kind of silly or something that

you think is pretty harmless. The lesson I

learned from this is that I think I do

have to be a bit more careful about what I

say on the internet, especially on

livestreams, because things can be clipped

out of context to make it look like it's

worse than it actually is. And when it

comes to animals and serial stuff. I think

it's best just to avoid that kind of topic

because apparently it is against the law

to make love to an animal. I wonder if

when they analyzed the clip and they

thought, wait, he's not joking, he's being

100% serious, would I actually get into

some kind of trouble? And this isn't

actually the first time the police came to

my house over my YouTube channel. This is

the second time. The first time was back

in 2021 when we had the second lockdowns

in the UK and my mum's friend wanted us to

babysit her children and let the children

stay overnight at our house because she

was busy doing night shift or work or

something. And I was doing a livestream

complaining about— because I don't really

like these kids coming over to my house.

So I was ranting about how annoying it was

that my mum's friend keeps dumping her

kids at our house like we're some kind of

care center for her children. And someone

took that clip and then reported that to

the police as well and said that we're

breaking lockdown rules because back then

you're not allowed to have anyone stay in

your house who's from a different

household. The police came to our house at

around 1 AM in the morning after everyone

had gone to bed. I was still up late

because I was streaming. I answered the

door and again, they think I'm a kid, so

they asked where my mum is or where my

parents are, where the owner of the house

is, as if I couldn't be the owner of the

house. So I tell them, hold on a minute,

I'll go and get my mum, she's sleeping. I

wake my mum up and tell her that the

police are here. She was very confused.

The police say to her that we're not

allowed to have guests over during the

lockdown, and I was a bit worried she'd be

angry at me because it was kind of my

fault that the police even found out about

it. The police said we cannot have anyone

over the house, and we had to call the mum

of the kids, get her to come over and pick

the kids up, and they had to leave even

though it was like 1 AM at night. It's

just crazy to think a couple years ago

during those lockdown days, even just

having some guests over your house would

get the police to come over and then give

you a stern warning. The looks on their

faces when they were telling us off,

because it did feel like they were telling

us off, they had such serious-looking

faces as if we had just broken some kind

of really serious law and committed a

terrible crime. So that was the story of

how the police came to my house over

comments I made over a horse. And I'd like

to thank the hater, the stupid idiot who

reported that clip to the police. Thanks

for helping me make $20. I'll use it to

buy some pork chops. I really wonder how

long it's going to take for these weirdos

to stop reporting me for every damn thing.

You would think after 5 or 6 years, which

is probably how long they've been

following me, they would lose interest and

move on. But it seems like I'll probably

be stuck with them for the rest of my

life, or well, the rest of their lives.
