Laser Cannon MOST Underrated Support Weapon in Helldivers 2 - BEST Loadout Tips and Tricks

Hello, welcome back to a new video. So the

laser cannon, probably one of the most

underrated support weapons. We're going to

be talking about the laser cannon, why

it's underrated and pretty good and very

powerful when used correctly, and tips and

tricks and what kind of supply backpacks

to use in combination with the laser

cannon. Okay, so I just landed and I want

to show you my laser cannon. And best way

to use it I find to be with the supply

backpack because you get extra stims and

extra grenades. I like to use the stun

grenade because it stuns the enemies. And

with the laser cannon, you really need

steady fire. If you get hit whilst using

it, you will get staggered. So the best

way to use it is in combination with the

stun grenade. So you can stun them like

that, and then you can just do a steady

beam against their heads like that.

Easily take down these light guys when you

wipe them in the heads. So one of the best

things about this build is when you go up

against these hulks, you can stun them

like this and and then laser them right in

the eye, and that is their weak point. A

few seconds in the eye with the laser is

usually enough to take down most of the

enemies, including the Hulks. These guys,

straight in the eye, they go down too.

And that's basically what you want to do.

You want to stun them with the stun

grenade and then laser them in the eye,

and then resupply your stun grenades and

stims using the supply backpack. It's a

pretty good and effective strategy, and I

am surprised that not many people run this

loadout. Now with these Devastators, if

you aim for the rockets on their

backpacks, they go down in just a few

seconds like that.

And then you can stun them like this for

some more lasering. And just aim for

the red glowy bits or the rockets on the

backpack. That usually takes them down

pretty quickly. These guys, the Chainsaw

Berserkers, same thing really. Aim for the

heads, they go down really fast. Here you

can see again, we go for a stun grenade on

this Hulk. It stuns him, shoot him in the

eye, and he's dead. It took like 3

seconds, so easy. And that's why you want

to run the supply backpack. You can keep

on resupplying your grenades, get up to 8

grenades I think after using all of the

supply blocks. Stun them like that. The

great thing about those walkers, when they

get stunned, they look down and expose the

pilot's head. Perfect for lasering. The

other great thing about the laser cannon

is, as long as you don't overheat it, it

basically has infinite ammo. It says 1 out

of 1, but you will never have to reload it

as long as you make sure you don't

overcharge it. Against these little guys,

just aim for the heads. They go down

really easy as well. Just make

sure to keep an eye on the overheating

sound. Try not

to overheat it.

It's also really great as a long-range

weapon. See how far away I am from this

thing, and I can easily take it down with

a few seconds of concentrated firepower.

And here you can see in the distance

you've got another Hulk. What you want to

do is stun it with the stun grenade and

then shoot it right in the eye.

Look at that, so easy. I don't think

there's any easier way to take down the

Hulks. And then with these, you can just

stun it and then shoot it in the head.

Pretty easy. Everything's just so easy

with this gun. Watch this.

Got another group of enemies over here.

Stun, aim for the head.

Can't really get that one's head because

the other enemies are blocking.

His head is very tiny. Can't really get

it at this angle either.

Try again. Stun it in

the head, easy. And then get these guys

too. I don't know who's blowing me up.

Oh, this rocket guy. Got another Hulk

Penetrator over there and

a Factory Strider. Hmm,

maybe time to get out of here.

It's a bit too much. As good as the laser

cannon is, I don't think I can handle

this. Oh crap, I just fell into the water.

Oh great, now I'm dead.

Bye-bye, swimmy time.

Here we have another Hulk and a tank.

Unfortunately, can't really do much

against the tanks, so I want to get

out of that tank's way. Take on this Hulk.

Oh, look at that, it just crumbles like

wet tissue. So easy.

Another Hulk. So many Hulks.

It is really hard to kill them if you

don't stun them though. And then in this

kind of situation, what you want to do is

Laser the pilot, laser this guy in

the head before he shoots off his

rockets,

laser this guy. It's kind of like a

long-range sniper laser if you want to

think of it that way. You can shoot these

things in the legs, but I don't think it

will do anything. Stun these guys.

Shoot this guy in the head and the

shoulders, maybe another stun.

Finish off with a few shots here

and there whilst it reloads.

Yeah, so pretty good weapon. Oh wow,

someone's using the railgun. I haven't

seen anyone use a railgun in ages.

And against the Factory Striders, what you

want to do is aim for the miniguns on the

top like that, and then you want to aim

for its face. That's a weak spot. Also,

the other weak spot is in its belly, but

that's kind of dangerous right now.

So weak spot for the Factory Strider in

its face. Get off the— get the miniguns

off. Also, it's belly.
