Top 10 BEST Weapons You NEED For Elden Ring DLC ｜ Shadow Of The Erdtree Preparation Guide

Hello, welcome back to a new video. So the

Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree is

coming out soon, and you might not have

played the game much recently, and you

might need to practice a bit more to get

good at it again. And I wanted to make a

video showcasing some of the best weapons

to use to ease yourself back into the

game, and what kind of Ashes of War to

combine with these weapons to be able to

have the optimal playstyle. So I really

like this greatsword, the Colossal

Greatsword. It does incredible damage and

it knocks down and staggers enemies really

easily. I like to combine it with the

What's it called? Royal Knight's Resolve.

And now what this does is it incredibly

buffs the damage that you do with it on

its first hit. So I like to put on the

standard affinity, and we go back like

that, and we double hand use it. And then

by using Resolve— Knight's Resolve— it

gives this white glow, and it's going to

buff your damage massively. So watch.

This. Oh, 2,674 damage!

I basically 2-shot this Scarlet Rot thing.

So we'll do it again. This time I won't

trigger the Knight's Resolve. So we did

about 2,670 damage without— I mean, with

Knight's Resolve. So without it, it will

do about 1,350.

Jesus, so it nearly doubles the damage by

equipping this. Now watch, watch this.

Now don't watch that, that was not good.

So without using Resolve, Knight's

Resolve, it does about 1,300 damage on a

heavy attack. Now with the Knight's

Resolve, it does about 2,400.

So yeah, easily nearly doubles the amount

of damage. So what you want to

do is just enable it before you go into a

battle and then do something like Oh,

2,000 damage! And then enable it again and

then do this. Oh, I just one-shot

everything with it. This weapon's so cool,

the way that it staggers all the enemies

as well. It's so powerful. Watch.

Oh my God, everything just gets one or

two-shot. Next thing I want to show you

are the katanas. So there's loads of

katanas. My favorite ones have to be Hand

of Malenia, and I've got 2 of them. I've

done NG+, and you can dual wield 2 Hands

of Malenia's. Now they've got a special

attack where you basically just fly around

the air and smash slash everything up,

but that's not the best thing about it.

The best thing about it is the blood

buildup is just really quick. So look at

that, the way you proc the blood, it

triggers so quickly, and the

attack speed is pretty damn good as well.

So yeah, if you want some fast-hitting

good katanas with good blood buildup,

then the Hand of Malenia is pretty good as

well. But if you don't have that and you

haven't defeated Malenia once or twice

already, then you can just use the

standard katanas like the, the Uchigatana.

You can get that from level 1 if you

choose Samurai as your main character. So

I got the Uchigatana And I've also got the

Nagakiba. So you've got these other ones

like Rivers of Blood, Moonveil, but you

need certain stats for those like

dexterity, which I don't have because I'm

doing like a strength build. And you can

do pretty good damage with these as well,

just like the, uh, Malenia one. But the

good thing about these ones is they can

actually apply an Ash of War to either.

So you can do this one called Seppuku

which increases the speed that the blood

buildup builds up. So that's pretty good.

So basically you just stab yourself, take

some damage, and you can actually do it on

both weapons, I think, by putting this one

away, doing it on this one, and then

bringing out your other weapon and then

doing it again. And then you can now have

seppuku on both weapons.

And yeah, you just do so much blood

damage. It's insane, the amount of blood

damage. Look at that, it's actually better

than Hands of Malenia.

My other favorite weapons are the Banished

Knight's Greatsword. I actually just,

just defeated Malenia using these 2

weapons, and I put blood affinity on them.

I put the seppuku on it as well, like

that, put blood on it. So the way that

these are different to the katanas is that

these can actually do stagger damage and

knock enemies back, which the katanas

can't really do. Katanas are quick and

everything, but they don't stagger or

knock enemies down. So as you can see,

you can do seppuku and then just attack

this guy with 2 weapons like that. And you

can also do a pretty good jump attack like

this where you slam it down on them, and

that does a lot of damage as well. So I

like to use a talisman that increases jump

attack, so it's called Where is it? Claw

Talisman enhances jump attacks, and that

really enhances your jump attacks. So

watch the jump attack, it's really

effective for staggering the enemies as

well. Look at that,

1979, it's like 10 years before I was

born. And the damage on the 2 blades is

just much better than the katanas, I feel.

It is slower than a katana, dual blade is

katanas, but it does more damage and it

knocks the enemies down like, like that.

That is so cool, the way he holds the

weapons, the blades parallel to each

other, slashes them together, is really

cool. And the next weapon I really

like is the Prelate's Infernal Crozier.

Does so much damage. It's a double-handed

colossal hammer, and if you put the

Knight's Resolve onto it and do standard,

go back, it can do insane damage. I mean,

look at the thing, it's ridiculous. So

remember before, Rolls Knight Resolve

basically doubles the damage you do on,

on your attacks. So watch this.

Oh my God, 2,005! I nearly one-shot it,

and its blocking is basically useless

against the hammer attack. And jump

attacks are pretty good as well. Watch.

Oh my god, oh my god,

yeah, that's pretty good. You can probably

do more if you actually put Knight's

Resolve onto it. So do Knight's Resolve,

charge up, big attack. Oh my god,

2839 damage.

It does pretty good damage, as you can

see. Another really reliable weapon and

easy to use is the pike. So I've got this

pike, it's called Heavy Pike, and the

Ashes of War put on it was the— oh yeah,

Giant Hunt. It launches the enemies up

into the air. Watch this, it's so

effective. Oh my God, look at the damage

though! And then you can just stab him

like that. Go for another one. Oh my God!

And then you can equip it with a shield as

well, so get a shield, you've got extra

defenses like that, and you can also poke

enemies from behind the shield. So that's

pretty solid defense and offense.

So as you can see, you can go back to him,

put your shield up,

attack him, and you can also attack from

behind the shield. See,

but you will need a lot of stamina because

that will use up a lot of stamina.

Attacking and defending at the same time.

Launch him up in the air, do a heavy

attack. Easy. So much

easier than trying to roll around and use

dual-wield weapons. It's pretty good

against the trash mobs as well. As you can

see, it does good damage.

I really like these Blood Mourning Stars

as well. If you put a blood effect on it,

and they build up some pretty good blood

damage, and they can knock enemies down,

and they're good against enemies with

shields as well. So you can go dual wield

with these like that. And what did I put

on it? I put Wild Strikes on it. Let me

change that something a bit better. We can

put Hmm,

can put something like Fire of the

Redmanes. That's a pretty good one, fire

art, and it's also gonna do some blood

damage as well. So basically Flames of the

Redmane does this, it also knocks the

enemy back, and it's really good. Watch

this. Oh my god,

you see how much damage it did? I don't

even have any magical stats really, but

you can still do good fire damage using

this fire art.

As you can imagine, it's pretty good

against the trash mobs too. If you go down

here, there's a bunch of enemies.

Oh, I just one-shot him in the head, and

it's pretty rapid firing as well because

it's dual wield, so it does blood damage

and fire fire damage. Watch this. Oh my

god, it's so powerful. Sometimes you go up

against a boss where they do so much AoE

damage, and if you try and melee them,

it's so dangerous. But then you just do

Flames of the Redmane and you don't have

to go up to them. You can do this massive

damage. Now if you stat up with Faith,

I think you do more fire damage, or you do

the talisman— stupid guy won't die—

if you get the fire talisman, there's a

talisman Where is it?

Somewhere here. So hard to find, so much

damn stuff, it's hard to find anything

sometimes. Yeah, here, Fire Scorpion Charm

raises fire attacks, so if you combine

that with Flames of the Redmane,

you can do some pretty good damage.

Watch. Oh, you just one-shot it!

Look at that, this is so easy. Yeah,

these dual-wield morning stars are pretty

cool.

Basically just one-shots everything.

Yeah, they're pretty good weapons as you

can see, and they look funny. And then

also the Grafted Blade Greatsword is

pretty cool. I maxed this out as well,

and it's got this Ash of War called Oath

of Vengeance. Now what that does is

basically it just buffs all your stats.

I ran out of FP, hold on. So basically

this just buffs all your stats like that,

and gives you a bunch of AP power and

other things, and it's pretty good. Big

greatsword, you can just swing it around

Oh, 1,400 damage. See,

1959, that's when my dad was born. And the

cool thing is you can also dual wield them

like that, but then become overloaded.

Get rid of this. Okay, you can also Dual

wield them and you can do a jump attack

like, like that, slam them both down.

Watch this. Oh my god,

3066. Look at these numbers.

The way he swings them around is so cool.

And then we also got the Zweihänder,

which is another cool colossal greatsword,

and this one's a bit faster than the other

greatswords. See, it's a lot slimmer, but

it's very long as well, like my dick. And

just watch the damage you can do. Oh,

1682, pretty good.

It looks pretty cool as well, the way it's

really long. Oh wow,
