Wow, my hair is getting long.

Hasn't been this long in ages.

I wonder if I should cut it.

I feel nervous about cutting it because it will look weird and they don't take ages to grow back, but I feel like it's getting long.

Look, I did the laundry. This washing machine

took a while for me to figure out how to use. Look how old it is. It's got like these weird twisty knob things, and then I had to Google the instructions for the Teka ALS-12. And then the instruction book had like 6 different languages on it. I had to try and find where the English was. Why didn't

they put English right at the top? Who cares about Spanish and French?

This was really confusing, all these numbers.

So you had to switch it, turn it to the number

And then it just slowly rotates, and then this is spin dry, and then this is drying, that's rinse. So it would slowly go through these different symbols until it gets to this line and then it stops. And then that's the temperature. I didn't know what temperature it's set to. And then these buttons, I don't know what that

means. Rinse, extra rinse, rinse what? Oh. Is that my hair? Why is my hair all there? It wasn't there before. Ah,

why is it there?

Yeah, this washing machine has probably been here since the building was completed in 2004.

This building's pretty old. I was kind of surprised that the build— I mean, look at the cabinets and the, the design of the kitchen looks so dated, the creamy beige.

I don't know why my hair's falling out so much, but I mopped the floor as well today and there was just like so much hair just after I've been here for a week. There's hair everywhere.

I think that's like my biggest problem. If you're gonna live with me, there's gonna be hair almost everywhere, and I try my best to mop it up and wipe it off, but my hair is just falling out all the time, especially when I have a shower. If I don't have a shower for a few days and then

I wash it, there's so much of it comes out. Do you want to see the bath? I haven't rinsed it. I'm not going bald. I've always been like this. Look, I've got a lot of hair.

My hairline is pretty much the same as it's always been. It's not like I'm going bald. It just falls out quickly. It falls out easily and then it grows back quick. Look at all the hair.

My bathtub is just— I don't know if I should wash it down the drain or try and scoop it up because it will plug the drain. I'll do it later. Yeah, I always have this problem. If I live at home, I've got to, you know, make sure I don't leave all this hair around, otherwise my sister gets

annoyed.

I don't think I'll go bald because I, I was Googling about baldness and genes, and apparently men get baldness from their mother's side. So if your mother's— on your mother's side, the men are bald, then the son will likely to be bald.

But the men on my mum's side, they— none of them are bald. They've all got hair, my Malaysian uncles.

I think if I was going to go bald, it would have started by now. Most people who go bald, it starts in their early 20s. Look at Asmongold. Jesus, he's going bald. People like Jeremy LaFube from Financial Education, he's— I think he's the same age as me, and he's, he's clearly going bald. But I've got a lot

of hair. Same as always. I haven't noticed less hair,

it just falls out easily. I think I've just got weak follicles.

But yeah, it's annoying because I've got to keep making sure. I left so much hair in the previous apartment, it was just like the floor was covered in my hair. I had to do a quick Hoover. I don't have a Hoover here. I don't think I need one. I might need like a small one to clean the

sofa because I can't mop the sofa, can I? I saw— I saw like a small hand hoover for cars at Aldi. I might get that. I don't know, it's just a bit tricky. I could just do this and then mop up what's on the floor.

I don't really want to buy brooms and mops and stuff. I think I don't know what to do with it when I leave.

I wouldn't mind like a mop with one of those wet wipes, detachable disposable wet wipes on it, then I could just like mop it around, chuck the tissue in the bin. Otherwise I have to keep rinsing the cloth and then Making sure it's clean.

So I washed these today. Mmm, smells clean. And I washed my bedsheets, but I can't get all of the dust off.

Look, maybe because it's black, but there's all like little white particles.

I can't get it off. Even putting it in the washing machine, it comes out like that. So I washed my bedding and My bedsheets are nice and clean. My pillow is nice and clean. That's my Durex.

Ugh, not Durex here. Ugh, sticky.

So I've got a nice clean bed. And look, I had to cut a hole because the bedsheet still had the security tag on it. I didn't realize when I bought it, I did self-checkout, I didn't realize it had a security tag. And I was walking in and out of Aldi triggering the alarms, wondering why am I triggering

the alarms. The security tag from Wilkinson triggers the alarms in every shop because it's the same mechanism. And then they didn't even search me. I walked out Aldi's and it was going beep beep beep, and then the security guard, he, he asked me, he said, have I been shopping here? And I said, yeah, but I got some

stuff from Wilkinson. He said, oh, it's probably that then. He didn't even search me. I bet if I was black, he would have like searched my bags. He'd be like, excuse me, sir, can I check your stuff?

But that kind of tells you, you could shoplift at Aldi and they won't even check you, even if you trigger the alarms. I was just triggering all the alarms going out. I don't know why the security tag was still on my bed sheets. So I used my scissors to cut the tag off. Look, where is it? I

put it in the bin. I can't be bothered. See another one though.

I'm not sure if I was supposed to ask the staff to remove it, but now I've got a hole in my bedsheets because I couldn't get it off, so I had to cut it off.

Look, it was It was attached in like a knot, twisted like that, so I had to just snip it off and it created 2 holes here. A bit annoying. I had such a disaster getting bedsheets. I got that single bedsheet which cost like £30 and then it didn't even fit on the bed. And then this one, I

got the wrong color. I thought black would be nice. I thought black would nicely accent against the blue, but the black just shows all of the little white specks and any stains become really visible. Like, even if on my clothing you can see all the bits. I don't like it, it's triggering my OCD.

Oh, too late now. Should have got like a light blue color or a light light pink or something.

Bit annoying.

Oh well, it's only £8. Maybe I'll go and get a new one. What else do I want to buy? I was going to buy a drying rack for my plates, but I don't really feel like I need it.

I just wash it and then I hand dry it straight away. It's not necessary. Pot noodle.

Can't get stuff off Amazon because I can't be bothered going downstairs. The guy at the reception said if you get a parcel, they'll bring it in and then we'll take it and then we'll let you know, or you have to come down and then we'll give it to you. I don't want to have to do that. It's

too much interaction,

too much human interaction. I'd rather just go to a shop and get it.

And this rod thing is quite good for hanging for drying. I took down my shower curtain because according to the guy, he said you don't need curtains. And I googled it, and apparently this building has a special

glass curtain, they call it. It's like a reflective curtain outside.

So you got the inner panel of glass, and then you got the outer panel of glass, which is like a reflective glass, like that building over there. You see that building there? Let me flip.

You can't see into the windows. It's all reflective. It's like a mirror.

Uh, yeah, so I guess I'll just trust what he says.

But what if he meant the windows with these little dots on, that they have reflective stuff but then these ones don't? I'm not sure. I have to stand down there on the street and look up and see if I can see anyone walking around. I don't think I could. It was pretty reflective. I think it's fine. I

mean, no one's staring up to watch me naked in the shower. Am I getting bored of this place? No, I'm starting to, um, get used to it. Get used to being alone. Look, I've got more pimples. I've got another one here after this one healed. I've got another one here in the exact same place but on the

other side, and now I'm getting a massive one here. Look, it's like a big red lump. So I can't make any videos now because even with the skin filter you can't hide a big red lump.

So annoying when you're trying to make videos, you keep getting fucking pimples. Now I've got to wait maybe 5 days for it to heal. It could be like a week until that big red lump heals.

No one cares? I care! It's not that I care if people care, I care because it looks gross and it looks bad,

and then if I make a video, then it's permanently out there. So I might as well just wait until it heals so I look a bit better.

So frustrating when you get these big— I hate the big lump ones. I don't mind it when you get a tiny one you can pop the next day and it goes, but you get these ones deep in the skin

And it takes ages to heal.

That's why I hate having to show my face in the videos. It's so easy to just make a video and you just do voice recording,

but I do feel like it adds a layer of,

of quality if I just show my face. It gives a face to the voice. Makes it a bit better.

I just wonder if I'm gonna be 50 years old and still getting pimples. It's just stupid. I see everyone else, they've all got clear skin. I don't get it. Everyone else has got clear skin and they're all eating pizza and burgers and beers, as if everyone else has like a really healthy diet. I swear I don't know

any streamer or YouTuber who has such bad skin. I watch Ice Poseidon and he's like zooming up on people's faces and his own face and his skin looks great. Ice Poseidon like eats mincemeat out of a Doritos bag. My diet's not as bad as some people.

I don't know, it's not fair.

It's like the one thing I hate about My face is my stupid skin.

I hate the way this apartment is right outside the elevator door. Rusting stupid bag.

That's the only thing I don't like about this room.

Asians are supposed to have good skin. Well, I'm only half Asian, and then a lot of Asians have pimples too. I've seen a lot of Japanese men at the guest house and their faces were like covered in red bumps. I'm complaining about having one red bump. I remember one of the guest house managers, his whole face was

like covered in red marks. And then you see older Japanese men who are like 40 or 50 when

when they've stopped getting the pimples, but then their face is just like moon crater from when they used to have all the red bumps. Some people have it really bad, and then after it's finished, you know, their face is just— damn, it looks bad. It's just like craters, like a moon surface. So my face isn't as bad

as that, but I've got a lot of scarring.

The scars fade after a couple months.

I hate it when it's here. It's always here, always either here, here, or here, or here. It's always in the same 4 places.

Oh well, what can I do? It's just a bit frustrating when your main job is, you know, showing your face.

Buy a TV. Hmm, I have been thinking about TV. It wouldn't be bad actually,

but I've got the iPad. It's good enough. I just set the iPad up and I sit like this and then I put the iPad here. Oh no, it's plugged in.

Got the iPad like this and I got Mario Kart and I'm just playing and watching.

Don't really feel like I want to buy a TV.

And then I still don't know what I want to do next year.

And then I have to get rid of the stuff if I decide to move out, unless I can just leave it here for the next person. Aren't places opening up? Yeah, but I don't really want to go anywhere anyway. My CPM on average is between $10 and $15,

so you divide that by 2 because YouTube takes almost half, and then that's

like between $5 and $8

There's financial channels where they've only got 10K subs and get like 2K views and they make 10K a month.

And then there's people like iDubbbz who get like $2 CPM because he's constantly swearing and vomiting and stuff.

You can't compare channels because every channel is unique and different.

Highest CPM I got, I think I got nearly $20 on one of my investing videos.

But it's kind of hard because not only— the thing is, the CPM doesn't just depend on the topic of the video, it also depends on the audience of the video. So to get high CPMs from financial topics, you also need to get viewers who are interested in financial topics because they get the ads targeted at them. My

viewers are not going to have financial ads targeted at them because they're not going to be into financial stuff because I'm not a financial channel originally.

Yeah, most of my videos are about me because I don't really have anything else to talk about. I'm not like an expert in any subjects that I could talk about. The channel is like a personal vlogging channel. Obviously it's going to be about me. What else is it going to be about? It's not a finance channel. It's

not a gaming channel. So it's like a personal vlogging channel.

My second channel, you know, that's about other things like gaming, which, um, my new video is doing very well. I'm pleased. My Steam Deck sucks video has a 1 out of 10 ranking, getting good views in search results.

Quite happy with that.

So people think that ideas and what they have to say is so great that it deserves an audience. So you're making a video, filming it and uploading it because you think your, your ideas and opinions are so great and need to be listened to. That's narcissistic. I got a new game demo. Good thing about Switch recently is they're releasing a lot of demos. So I can do my review without even buying the game. I'm going to review this one, NEO: The World Ends with You. It's in Japan. My Monster Hunter review did okay,

and Steam games are way cheaper than Nintendo games. Switch games are just way too expensive. Look at this, The World Ends With You. But isn't it a new one? It's not an old one, is it?

The games are like £50, £60 on Switch. I'm not paying £60 for some game that I don't even know if I'm gonna like. At least Steam, they have— well, I don't know, Switch has sales as well, don't they? But at least then you can refund the game.

Look, there's a lot of demos now. I think every game should have a demo by default. It's not fair. They expect you to pay £60 without even trying out the game first. How hard is it to make a demo? You just add some extra code so that it only lasts like 2 minutes. That's how they did it

back in the day. Like the original PlayStation games, they used to have a demo disc with the gaming magazines. So you'd buy the gaming magazine and it would come with a demo disc and it would have like a bunch of different games on the demo disc. And then demo disc games would just, you know, the game would—

talking a lot. She's 32. She's quite pretty too, so she must be interested in me. And we exchanged contact details. She says, how do I keep her interested in me until Japan reopens? That is the challenge now. Never had this challenge before because before I would just, you know, go straight to Japan before they lost interest.

No, we speak in Japanese.

I usually try to speak to them in English because I'm lazy, but as soon as they find out I speak Japanese, they just stop speaking in English and they go full Japanese mode.

So I started off simple with conversations, you know, travel stuff, talking about the lockdowns. Now I'm slowly sending her pictures of, you know, my apartment, my lifestyle. So she gets like a sense of my, my, what's the word, my lifestyle. So I'm not just like a face who says stuff, you know, I'm actually a person. I want

her to feel like I'm actually a person and,

you know, it's real.

She's 32, which is a nice age. I feel like 32 is the golden age for women because they've got the maturity of a 30-year-old They've still got good looks from their 20s. Their looks haven't faded yet. And then they've got the horniness of a mature woman. Women in their 30s are very horny because,

you know, their biological clock is ticking, sending them signals saying you better fuck more because your time's running out. So this makes them more down to earth.

And they usually have jobs and their own places sorted out, which is nice.

And then, you know, they're going to change as a person. Person— people change so much from their early 20s until their 30s. People don't change that much from their early 30s to their late 30s. By the time you're in your early 30s, you know, the person you are is probably going to be the person you stay as

unless, you know, you're trying really hard to change as a person. Or some kind of catastrophic event happens that changes you. But in general, I, I feel like by the time you're in your 30s, you've kind of become the person you're going to stay as. But in your early 20s, you're still in like that experimental phase. You

still don't know what you're doing. You could become gay, or you could just suddenly lose interest in what you're interested in now. So many things can change.

And they can lose interest in you so easily as well, because they might be thinking, oh wow, I love Daniel so much. He's so this and that. But then a few years pass and then, oh, I'm bored of Daniel. I want someone else who can drive a car and do bungee jumping and loves doing drugs like me.

I just feel like they're more whimsical. They're more prone to just flip-flopping and changing.

Yeah, a lot of things to consider and factor in with the age.

I do want to change, like I want to improve my income streams and make more money.

The other thing I used to have as my background podcast stream thing used to be the Total Biscuit Corruption podcast. I used to love that so much. There's no other podcasts that replace them. Podcast was so good. I would look forward to every new one, and it would be 3 hours, and the 3 hours would just fly by in minutes. It felt like minutes. It was so great. I love TotalBiscuit.

He was the best person ever on YouTube. You know, no-nonsense, no-bollocks kind of guy. Straight to the point, blunt, interested in the things I'm interested in,

had always had great insights and opinions on the gaming industry. Everything he said was just interesting, even if he was talking about

lower highs and lower lows, so I thought, this is definitely going to crash. And it did, but then it bounced back up, and then it did like an upside-down cup and handle. So it went up and up and up, and I was— I lost like £60 of my profits. Eventually, it started coming back down, but then the

session ended.

I can't believe it.

I was like -70 on my NASDAQ short, now I'm about -35 on my NASDAQ short.

Just say I'm going on a gap year. You say gap year, don't you?

I feel like it's more of an American thing. Maybe Americans use it because Americans use a lot of weird Latin. The weird thing about America college, they use all those Latin words, don't they? Like Alpha Centauri,

Victor cum laude. I don't even know what it means. It's like the place you got your degree from in university, they use like weird Latin. They say, oh, I graduated Saudi cum laude or something. I don't know what the fuck does that mean. Americans use a lot of weird Latin.

And then they have the sorority. I don't know what that is. You know, the building Elliot Rodger tried to get in to kill the women. So the women stay in a sorority,

and then each sorority has a different Latin name.

Sabbatical is a period of paid leave granted to a university teacher or worker. What about students? Did he think I was a teacher?

I thought sabbatical was like a gap year

that students take.

English people don't use Latin at all. Only like really posh, highly educated people might.

talking recently how he's tried to message Greek and then Greek doesn't even reply. So none of them want to even talk to Ice anymore. It makes you think, you know, what happened?

Did, did Twitch force them all to sign a contract promising not to talk to Ice anymore? It's just so sad.

It's like they're all distancing themselves from Ice.

I reckon Twitch, uh, probably made them, you know, not talk about Ice. Don't talk about him, don't promote him, don't tell people to go and sub to his channel on YouTube. Apparently Twitch really, really hates Ice.

Apparently they're like the indigenous people of Taiwan who got pushed out into the mountains. They used the guns. To go hunting.

Such a weird lifestyle though, just living on the mountains. And it was so scary to drive there. Her dad drew— drove us there through all these winding roads on the edges of mountains. It was terrifying. If he just slipped, if the road caved and the car just slipped, we would be rolling off the edge of a mountain.

I was crapping myself. Right on the edge. The road was so narrow and he was driving so fast and not very carefully.

Viruses are pretty cool though. They're like a whole ecosystem of things

comes in waves.

And actually, did you know viruses are really important in the natural world? They said if you could press a button and eradicate every virus in the world, all life on the planet would collapse because viruses play a very important role in

in society. It's just a few of them are evil and kill us, but most of the viruses play very important roles. I forgot what they were now, but they keep, you know, bacteria populations under control.

Yeah, basically viruses keep things under control. Wow, I never thought of it that way.

So now humans, you know, there's way too many of us. It's keeping us under control, isn't it? It's trying to cull us, keep our numbers down. And then with other things like bacteria, it stops bacteria populations from exploding and just dominating. It also prevents dominant species from just overtaking and wiping out everything else. So it keeps a

level playing field for different species. So one species gets far too ahead, the other species kind of fall behind because, you know, they don't have a chance of competing. That's where the virus comes in. It like levels the playing field. It's a pretty cool thing that nature has as a tool. Keeping things in check.

And then these viruses, they just naturally exist in jungles, usually very harmless. It's like monkeys. Monkeys evolved to live with SIV, which is the monkey version of HIV. There are monkeys that have like special DNA that prevents them from dying, and they just have the SIV in them and it doesn't affect them because they've had tens of

thousands of years of evolution protecting them against it. And then the problem is the virus jumps over cross-species into humans, becomes HIV, and then we haven't had millions of years of evolution to fight to live with it, and we just get you know, decimated by it. We got no protection against stuff like that.

But it's just crazy, there's monkeys that just have HIV and, and it doesn't affect them at all

because the virus evolved with the monkey to live symbiotically.

And then all these bats in jungles, they, they have viruses too. They just live together with the virus. The problem is humans start cutting down the jungles, the bats escape to fly to new places, they shit all over the place spreading the viruses, then humans come into contact with it, and then the virus jumps cross-species and then

fucks us with SARS and H1N1— I mean COVID, and you know, all the other stuff— swine flu, Spanish flu.

Just stay out the bloody jungles.

I used to love creating decks with, like, weird decks with all murlocs or all level 1 cards and then seeing how well it would do. Or all level 10

cards.

There are a lot of interesting combinations you could do, but then they just kept adding more and more crazy stuff, and I, I just, you know, lost track of it. Like all these weird dragons and weird things to do, stupidly dumb, stupidly overpowered stuff. Call of Cthulhu was when I last played it. Wait, I need to pee.

I don't know why there's a poo stain at the bottom. There's— don't know if you can see it. There's poo stain. I don't understand poo. Why does it make a stain? Why does it get hard? It's in water, shouldn't it be soft? Usually you soak things in water, it softens up and loosens, but the poo does the

opposite and it seems to get harder and harder the longer you leave it there. Very weird.

Am I gonna reuse a sponge for dishes? Yeah, why not? If I use washing-up liquid, it will kill the bacteria.

I can't believe they didn't give me anything. Well, they gave me a set of drawers and a bed mattress, but apart from that, the whole apartment was completely bare. Last time I played Pokémon, I was 14, but can you imagine if they made an 18+ adult Pokémon game where the Pokémon, you can like cut off the limbs during fights? Oh, that'd be so good. Insert, they should ditch the turn-based combat. I hate that. And then make it like Chivalry 2, third-person hack-and-slash combat, and you play

as the Pokémon during Pokémon battles. So usually you play as the, as the guy, as the human, and then when you throw the Poké Ball, the camera shifts to the Pokémon, and then that you have like a melee weapon, and then you just hack the enemy Pokémon. You can like cut him to bits and blood comes out

and stuff. That would be so good.

So for example, Charizard or Charmeleon, the one that breathes fire, he should scorch the enemy Pokémon and then they catch on fire and start screaming and stuff. And then you should be able to bang the girls.

That would be so cool.

Games would just automatically be better if it was really bloody and gory,

I'm not sure if I'll get Kingdom Come again when it comes out on Switch. It's a very nice story and setting.

It's just the gameplay and the combat kind of sucks,

but it always feels so meaningless being able to bang the, the characters in games. Just feels like, what's the point?

You get, you get a nice scene, cutscene, I guess. Well, in Kingdom Come you get a bit of a buff, you get this special perk when you bang Lady Stephanie. I think it's called Alpha Male perk, and then you get like strength bonus.

It's quite interesting reading about this building. They said originally it was supposed to be 50 floors, but they had to reduce it by 3 floors because of the wind. They said if it was 50 floors, the wind would be too strong and the building would sway. So they reduced the height, which resulted in this— they put this

glass blade at the top of the building, which is like a decorative piece and also serves as a lightning rod, but then it creates this really loud humming sound in heavy wind situations. I haven't heard it yet, but it's supposed to be audible from miles away. And then the architect who lives at the top of the building

refused to remove it. Make— he refused to make alterations.

A bit selfish. I don't know why they've got this glass blade.

And so many people hate the building. They say, oh yeah, people are upset because Manchester lost its ability to ever become a World Heritage Site because the building is too big. So in England, in order to maintain World Heritage status,

you're not allowed buildings above a certain height, which is why I think London doesn't have really high skyscrapers, because they want to maintain the World Heritage status. It's really dumb. Who cares?

You're stopping people from building really cool skyscrapers for the sake of some status thing.

And then Liverpool is under threat of losing its World Heritage because it's looking too modern. They're starting to become too modern looking.
