£11. Now I need 100% gain to get back to

So I'm not trading today, I'm just leaving

the short open for a swing trade until

next week because I'm confident the market

can go down. And I'm not, I'm not sitting

there trading it going up and down, just

leaving it short. It's a high conviction

today. Somehow I managed to smash it out

in just about over, under, just slightly

over 2 hours. I couldn't believe it. I was

like, I literally did about 50 parcels an

hour. That's about £25 an hour.

a lot of them were multiple deliveries to

the same house in pretty much the same

area. So it didn't really take that much

longer. I mean, delivering 10 parcels to

one street compared to delivering 2

parcels to one street doesn't really take

that much longer because you're on the

street anyway and it would take an extra

10 or 20 seconds just walk to the next

house. So even though it's 100, it sounds

a lot, it doesn't really take that much

longer. And I still had more left because

on Easter Monday they didn't bring any

parcels because they were off, and then on

Tuesday they brought in 2 days worth of

parcels. So I had 2 days worth of parcels

waiting for me, but I could only take

about 70 and had to leave the rest.

And then, yeah, the rest were still there

waiting for me today, plus the new ones

that arrived. So I took 100 today and I

left a whole bag of parcels. So that's

probably about 30. And then tomorrow

they've probably brought another 70-ish.

So there's probably still about 90-ish.

Probably can't take everything, although

tomorrow is Saturday, so no stock market.

in, out. It's like you're a robot. It's

And it always just gets really annoying.

on me. You open the door and it just

swings back closed if you don't put

your arm out. Well, sometimes I

don't slow down enough before putting the

handbrake on. It makes this like, I don't

know, grinding sound, and I handbrake skid

a bit. I wish the handbrake would just

automatically come on when I open the

door. That'd be nice. And having to go

from drive to reverse gear is so annoying.

So you've got to put down the hand— foot

brake, and then you've got to like fiddle

the switch. Why can't there just be a

reverse pedal and a go-forwards pedal?

You know what would be cool is if the

brake also reversed you if you kept

holding— no, That doesn't make sense.

What about just a third pedal where it

reverses you? I hate having to put down

the foot brake and you got to fiddle the

switchy thing to change gear drive mode.

Yeah, so I've been crunching the numbers

recently. I think I'll be able to end May

out of overdraft positive £300,

and then beginning of June I'll go back

into overdraft by about £1,000, and then

end of June I'll be able to end June

positive £1,300.

So I think from end of June

I will become cash flow positive,

which is going to be great. I'll finally

be able to get out of overdraft and stay

out of overdraft. And then from July,

beginning July, I'll go from £1,300 down

to about zero after paying expenses. And

then end of July I should be net positive

£2,000-ish. Because all the expense of

July would be paid for in the beginning of

July. And then after I get my YouTube

money and stuff nearing the end of July,

that will go right in my pocket. So it's

like $2,000 and then next month comes,

half that goes out, but half it stays.

Plus the end of July money comes in.

So I have like $3K end of August. So I

think around July, June, end of June,

my money situation should become much

better and I'll be able to dig myself out

of overdraft. It's been rough these last

few months because, hmm, I've had some

really big expenses, to be honest, like

£900 for 1 year car insurance,

£740 for half a year council tax.

And there's been unexpected expenses like

I had to get tires, I had to get a new car

charger. It cost £150 something. So just

fingers crossed that there's no more big

unexpected expenses.

Yeah, I also breached 113,000 subscribers

recently. Finally got back to the

pre-Thailand numbers. Before Thailand, I

had 113K and then I lost about 1,500

subs after 2 years in Thailand.

People were so bored. People hated me

being in Thailand. It was weird. You

think, oh, being in England's boring. Go

traveling, Daniel. That's more

interesting. But then when I was in

Thailand, I'd barely get 100 viewers

sometimes, get like 80 or 90 viewers.

It's weird.

Also, a lot of channels been making videos

about me recently and also on Instagram.

Pages posted my meme thumbnail picture of

getting married and then getting divorced

and then getting a love doll. And it got,

I don't know, probably a million views or

something on Instagram. It's the same

picture from— people have been cycling

that picture for years now. It would

disappear and then years later it will pop

up again on some meme page. You know, the

list of my thumbnails. In that funny

order.

Any gains from day trading today?

Well, I'm currently just sitting in a SPY

short. Uh, it's up

about 6%, but I'm not really expecting it

to really do anything. Until probably end

of the session and then beginning of next

week. This is a short-term

swing trade, not a day trade anymore.

Why? Because basically,

basically, I think stocks are going down.

So why not just sit in a short and

chill and not like stress out about trying

to find 10 trades today? Because I don't

really see any trades apart from

a short.

Everything is just setting up to go short

and maybe a long in gold. Gold is making

higher lows.

So it's either you go long gold or you

short indices because they seem to be

going opposite ways.

Yeah, so I'm just going to sit in this

short and then hopefully I make back— so

even at my target level, I won't make back

what I've lost. But I'll make a good chunk

of it back. So I've lost about £8.

If this short works out, I could make back

No, the boxes are not heavy. The heaviest

you get is maybe a bag of compost, but

they're not too heavy. It's not like I'm

delivering washing machines.

I'm kind of toxic because I understand he

will never change. I've changed loads. I

got a job, I got a car, I moved into a

house. I'm now very,

very careful about my finances. I know

exactly what's going in, what's going out.

I've done my forward projections up until

August. I think I will be cash flow

positive £800+ a month

from end of May,

and then I'll be able to start paying off

the Amazon credit card, which should

take maybe 4 months.

So that'll be August,

won't it? And then from August I will just

focus on paying back my mum basically,

which would probably take 2 years.

2. Imagine 2 years' time I'm still here

doing this delivery job. That'd be crazy.

2 years and I'll still have my Barrick

Gold So the goal is to not have to use my

stock money. I've devised a plan and I

forecasted projections that allow

me to pay back everything without having

to sell my stocks. Okay, I'll probably be

having to pay interest on the credit card

for a few months, but I don't think it'll

be that much, would it? Like £2 a day.

And the interest will keep going down

because every month I'll pay off like a

good chunk of it. So it won't be £4,700 of

credit card debt for the entire time,

would just be in the first month of the

interest— the first month of interest

applied month, and then the second month

be like £3K, and then next would be £2K

something, and next would be £1K

something.

And then I'll pay off the Amazon credit

card, and then we just got the— yeah,

in 3 months the IKEA loan will be paid off

anyway because that's £100. Oh, I didn't

factor in the £100 a month I've got to pay

for the IKEA loan into my calculations

because that automatically gets taken out.

You don't really get a choice. Yeah, so

that's £100 I should add. For the next 3

months. Yeah, and then after August

we only owe my mum $19K.

And then 2 years later I will be back to

where I was, where I would have been April

this year if I had never moved here in the

first place, which would have been

debt-free.

So yeah, 2 years more And then we'd be

back to square one, just like my trading.

Incur massive losses and then take years

to get even close to breakeven.

That's just the story of my life.

The annoying thing is paying all this

money to have— paying all this money into

a house that's never going to be yours.

Because at least when I was paying monthly

for the car, I was paying it into the car

and I was going to own it. And I was like

paying towards the equity of owning the

car myself. But you're never going to own

this house, are you?

I feel like if I'm paying all this money,

it'd be nice if it was my own house and I

was gonna like own it at some point.

I thought maybe I'd go do a mortgage

consultation meeting and see what they

say. They did offer me one a couple months

ago, but I didn't go.

Owners have to pay property tax, do they?

So do I have to pay council tax as well?

Is that an American thing? I've never

heard of property tax.

Yeah, then you got 25 years and then when

you're 60-something, you finally own, own

the house and then you die. Great.

So what's the point? You get to own the

house for like 5 years before you die.

I mean, technically you kind of own— I

mean, technically you don't own it. The

bank owns it, but you own it in name,

don't you? When you've— so when you have

the house in the mortgage,

you can do anything you want to the house,

can't you? Because it's your house, even

though you're paying the bank the

mortgage. So no one can kick you out and

you can like I don't know, knock down the

And also, I think the mortgage payments

would be way cheaper than rent because you

put down— the bigger the deposit you put

down, the cheaper the mortgage would be.

So you put down like a $20K deposit, get,

I don't know, $400 a month mortgage.

I feel like I'd rather just get a super

long, high interest mortgage if

the monthly payments are low, because I'll

probably die before I have to pay it all

off. Because then that way, at least the

monthly payments would be cheaper than

paying for the rent. That's all I care

want to have to worry about getting kicked

out, and I want to be able to do what I

want to the house, and I want it to be

So that's about 2-3 weeks. Took about 3

weeks. It actually took about 2 weeks,

but they wouldn't let me move in until a

week later. So it took about 2 weeks of

finding a place. So they'll give you

notice, won't they? So it's not going to

be like before where I had to blow loads

of money to stay in a hotel whilst looking

for places. They'll be like, oh, you've

got to move out. And then I'll have a

month's notice and then I can like look

for places whilst I live here.

And then, um,

I would also have proof of income this

time because I'll have my job income and

I've made a lot more money this time. I

would have made a lot more money, so I

would be much in a much stronger place to

pass the income checks. And I'll have a

reference, so that'd be great. I'll be

able to use this place as a reference for

the next place. So yeah, I'm just trying

to build a foundation which can help me in

the future in case I need to get— I think

the main issue is getting a new place in

case I don't have this place. That's my

main concern. And then also having the

savings and the funds to be able to,

to make the move, basically.

know. I felt like they were desperate to

find someone because I kind of ignored

them the whole weekend because I didn't

even realize they messaged me because I

was getting excited about the farm stable

conversion thing and I was going to go for

that one actually. I nearly went for it.

The one right outside of Exeter, the one

that was like 10 minutes drive from Exeter

center, was on a farm and it was like this

old stable that they can— it looked really

nice on the inside and the kitchen living

room was massive. It was way

bigger than this room, but it was on a

farm and there were like all these people

doing construction and you couldn't park

the car near the building, so I wouldn't

be able to charge it. So no, I really

wanted this place because it had a

driveway. So yeah, when I found out they

wanted me to do this reference thing,

then I, I just ditched the other place

basically. It worked out really well.

There was this one place I was excited

because I thought they were giving me the

place. I was at IKEA at the time and I was

like, oh my God, I've got the place. I

passed the reference check. But then I

realized, wait a minute, just because you

pass a reference check doesn't mean you

got it, because there could be 5 other

people that also passed it. So then I got

really depressed thinking, oh my God, I

didn't get it. And then I got excited

about the other barn conversion and then I

did get it and I paid the holding deposit.

And then after that, I got the email from

this place and I got an email from the

IKEA place. So I did get the IKEA place,

but at that point I didn't want it
