I love my iPad Pro 12.9

Oh, this is so nice just to have this on

your lap and then be able to watch YouTube

on my computer. I'm so spoiled. Hey, I

worked hard for this money. I can do what

I want. That was so chaotic. I just got my

iPad Pro in the morning— well, not the

morning, like 11 AM— and I had a shower

and it's like 12 PM. And I was trying to

make a new Apple ID to download apps and

it kept saying— when I tried to log into

the Apple Store, the iTunes App Store,

it kept saying whenever I entered my

details, my card details for payment kept

coming up with this red message saying

please contact Apple support. So I thought

I'd do it in the evening because I didn't

have time because I have to go to work.

And then 20 minutes before I had to go,

I decided, oh, maybe I can— maybe I have

enough time to phone Apple and sort it

out. And I just phoned them and they

sorted it out. It's serious. I think this

happened before. When you enter a new card

on your new Apple ID, it will come up with

an error and then you have to phone Apple

And then they like authorize your payment

card for your Apple ID. It's such a

hassle, so irritating. This is why I

didn't want to get the iPad today on the

day that I work. I wanted to get it on my

off day so I could have all day to play

around with it. Now I'm just going to be

at work, I'm going to be thinking about

the iPad the whole time, and time's going

to go by so slowly. But such a relief, I

have like 5 minutes left to get to work.

And I just finished the phone call to

Apple. They were really nice. Uh, I

thought it would take longer. I did have

to wait on hold for about 5, 5 to 6

minutes, but it was okay. She just said

it's fixed now, you can use your Apple ID

to download apps. And yeah, it's

downloading, downloading apps now. Such a

relief because I didn't want to have to go

back home and then realize I can't phone

Apple because it's the evening and not be

able to download any apps all night. So

it's nice to get that sorted out. Now I'm

all like flustered, can't calm down,

hyperactive, need to go to work. Still got

10 minutes. I think I left a bit early

actually. Anyway, I did try out the iPad

Pro for like an hour, about an hour, and

it's so nice to have that really big

screen just to have it on my lap. And sit

back and relax and do what I do on the

internet. It's so comfortable and it's so

fast. The screen just is so nice to look

at. Anyway, see you in, uh, 8 hours'

time, I guess. Oh, I hate daytime shifts.

There's always so many customers, and it's

the weekend. It's probably going to be

really busy today, and I bet Jack— and I

bet my manager's there because She's gonna

be standing behind me breathing down my

neck. I want to go home, play with my

iPad. One more hour left.

We're gonna go home, play on my iPad.

Ah, such a long day. I just want to

go home so badly. Playing that,

that beautiful large Tablet.

Today was an interesting day. This guy

came and I— and just after— just before he

left, he said to me, they should pay you

for advertising. I think he was hitting on

me. Was that because I'm— he finds me

attractive? That was kind of strange. I

don't mind guys saying that to me, but it

would be nice if it was a girl who would

say that to me at least once. You know, I

don't know. And then this little kid came

in and he said, can I swap my £5 note for

one of the new fibers? Because England,

we're changing all the £5 notes to plastic

ones. And I looked for one in the till and

gave him one. He looked so excited, it's

kind of cute. And he let me keep the

change. He paid for an item,

£3.18, and he gave me £3.50. I was

supposed to give him 32p change, but he

said keep it. And I said, okay, put it in

my pocket. Not bad. It's a lot of change

to be just chucking away. Maybe he was

rich. Maybe he was a rich kid. Oh,

and something even more interesting

happened. Okay, so I have this friend from

school who used to be my friend, but he's

not really my friend now. This was like

10, 12 years ago, and the

woman I'm working with She's his

mum. That is so weird. She suddenly said

to me, do you know blah blah blah? And I

said, yeah, I do. And then she said to me,

I'm his mum. And I was like, what?

Really? So strange. I said,

he used to come over my house all the time

when we were kids. And she said, yeah, to

play, to play video games, right? And I

said, yeah. Such a small world. Who would

have known 12 years later I would be

working with my friend's mum?

It's so strange. I felt— I feel

like I've come such a long way since I was

just a school kid. I've grown up so much

physically and mentally, and I feel like

I've just like forgotten about that part

of my life when I had school friends and I

went to school. It's just like another

world. But it just goes to show that

even though you try to forget that part of

your life, you meet people who were from

that part of your life, and it just

reminds you that it doesn't really go

away. I don't know if this makes sense.

It's just like I felt like I'm

reconnecting to my past somehow. I also

saw another person from my school today.

I was sure I recognized him. I remember

his name was— I remember his name was

James. Should I tell you his name? Yeah.

Anyway, he was with this girl, and then

the girl called out to him, James! I was

like, oh yeah, your name was James! And I

remembered him. He didn't remember me.

I've seen at least 2 other people who were

from my school, and they didn't recognize

me. Maybe I've changed a lot. I remember

when I was a school kid, I was like this

tiny little Asian kid who never spoke

to anyone. I was really quiet and shy,

and I was really short. Everyone,

everyone was bigger than me. But now I'm

like, I don't know, maybe I come across as

a bit more of a normal person, a confident

person. And I'm not small anymore. I'm

actually taller than all those school

school kids passed, people from my school

I knew. I was taller than all of them.

Felt kind of nice because I spent my whole

school life being the tiny little kid,

and now I guess I was just a late, a late

grower. I didn't actually have my growth

spurt until I was pretty old, like 18

or 17. I just started to get taller,

but Everyone else was getting taller when

they were 14 or 15, so it felt like all my

classmates were giants when I was in

school, and I was just like this tiny

little kid. But I guess I caught up. I

caught up eventually and even overtook

them, so in your face.

It's 3:13. It's 3:13

in the morning. Look at my background. Do

you like my wallpaper? It's pretty cool,

isn't it? I've been drawing

all night. Here's my drawing.

It's supposed to be a guy, though he kind

of looks like a girl. It's so nice

using this pencil.

It's pressure sensitive. The harder you

press, the darker it gets. And if you do

it like sideways, it goes wider like this.

And if you do it like straight down, it

becomes a fine line. Well, it depends

which brush you use. There's lots of

brushes, see, and they

all have slightly different attributes,

so it depends what you're using. But I

like this brush. It's called Brush Pen.

Can't get

off it. Oh, here it is. And it's really

nice for doing hair because you just go

like this. Oh no, not Brush Pen.

Wait, I don't know what I'm talking about.

The good one for hair is Studio Pen

because you can You

can do stuff like this, see?

You can do strands really easily and it

comes to like a fine point at the end when

you start like that.

Anyway, I spent like all night drawing

this. I kept fiddling with it.

It's so nice to draw on this.

Hmm, I think I should go to bed. So it's 3

AM in the morning, so I have to keep my

voice down. Hope you don't mind me

whispering. Um, I rushed home

from work. I literally ran home. I must

have looked so stupid to come home and

play on my iPad, and I've been on it for

about 5 hours straight, pretty much all

evening, and it's so nice.

I don't regret buying it. Don't have

buyer's remorse yet. I'm a bit

disappointed with iMovies because you

can't, you can't change the brightness or

the contrast or saturation of a video.

All you can do is apply these stupid

filters. Like black and white or sepia.

And all I need is something that lets you

change the brightness of a video, which my

Android video editor can do perfectly.

So that's a bit disappointing. There are a

few video editing apps for iOS that let

you change the brightness of a video, but

it takes ages to apply the

brightness to it, it takes like 2 minutes

just loading. I don't know why it takes so

long. And they're not very— they're not

very well-made video editing apps in the

first place. They look pretty crappy. I

really wanted to use iMovie, but I just— I

really need to be able to change the

brightness because Because I like to

make myself look brighter than the camera

makes me, mainly because if

I don't, then the video looks really dark.

Do you understand?

So I don't think I'm going to be using the

iPad for video editing, which is a shame

because it would have been nice to be able

to use that massive screen for splitting

and trimming and stuff like that, but I

guess I'll just stick with my phone. I

mean, there isn't really any problems

there.

And I

really want to do more drawing on it

because it's so nice using that Apple

Pencil. Yeah, more drawing,

more— I don't know what else I'm gonna do

on it. I guess just like general internet

use. And, um, I'm not

sure. Some people say that the iPad Pro

12.9-inch is too big, but I don't think

it's too big. I think it's really nice if

you just have it resting on your lap or on

the table surface, and it's fine. It's

really nice to use, but it's not very

portable. It's not going to be easy to

carry around. It's really difficult to

use, like holding it on one hand and then

using the other hand to type stuff. It's

really difficult and uncomfortable. But if

you just sit down and you just like put it

on your lap and sit back and use it like

that, kind of like a laptop, it's so,

it's so nice.

Also, the speakers are really good.

There's 4 speakers on it, 2 on each side,

and the sound quality is so good on it.

It's not, it's not like your mobile phone

where it's all tinny. There's actually

bass and it sounds really nice.

Uh, what else is there to say? There's not

that much to say really. It's just

basically a gigantic iPhone.

Or a really big iPad. I suppose

if you say it like that, it doesn't really

sound like it was worth buying. But when

you actually use it for yourself, you

notice how, how good it is. It's kind of

hard to explain. You kind of have to try

it out for yourself to see if you like it

or not. Anyway, I'm gonna go to bed.

It's really, really late.
