Top 5 BEST Weapons you NEED for Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC Preparation Guide

Hello, welcome back to a new video. So

with the Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the

Erdtree coming out very soon, I thought

I'd show you a video of the top 5 weapons

that you really should have before

starting the new DLC because it will just

make things so much easier. Plus these

weapons are actually really cool. So we're

going to start off with this weapon,

looks very cool. It's called the

Blasphemous Blade. It's got a bunch of

little tiny arms wriggling around on it.

I think the arms or little worm things.

Yeah, it looks pretty cool. Now this has

to be one of the coolest weapons in the

game because you get life after you kill

people. You get some kind of life bonus

added to your HP, and also you get this

massive fire attack. Watch this. So you

send down this beam or this line of AoE

fire damage right in front of you. Now

there's ways to make this really powerful,

and I found that using these buffs, I can

one-shot these Rotted Armored Knights. So

to really make this attack powerful,

you're gonna want to get the Shard of

Alexander— boosts attack power of skills.

You want to get the Fire Scorpion Charm—

raises fire attack because this weapon

does like fire eruption AoE. You want the

Ritual Sword Talisman— increases your

attack power when you've got maximum HP—

and also the Dagger Talisman. And for the

Wondrous Flask, we have the Flame

Shrouding Cracked Tear— increases fire

attacks and also boosts strength. And also

we have some incantations. So we've got

Flame, Grant Me Strength, gives you more

physical and fire affinity attack power.

And we also have Golden Vow, which also

increases attack power. So using these 2

incantations at the same time, we're going

to dramatically increase the potential

damage we could do. So first of all, we go

for Flame, Grant Me Strength, and then we

do a Golden Vow.

And then we swallow our Wondrous Physick,

and we should be able to one-shot this guy

who stands out here. Watch. Oh my god,

4,130 damage! So I tested out

that move before without using all the

buffs, and it was only doing about 2,200

damage. But with all these buffs, you can

get it up to like 4,000 damage. So

obviously you can wipe out these smaller

guys as well, like that. 4,000 damage.

You can AoE enemies as well. It's pretty

powerful. And then once you've run out of

focus points, you can just whack them with

it as well. That also works pretty good.

Okay, next weapon we have the Ruined

Greatsword. Now this is a really great

greatsword. So this one does a kind of

similar attack But this time it shoots out

rocks and gravity purple electricity. It

kind of looks the same, the animation is a

bit weird. I mean, quite a lot of these

special attacks I'm going to show you

today on today's video from these weapons

do have this exact same animation where he

raises it up over his head, slams it down

into the ground. So the difference with

this one is it uses physical damage. So

what I found is you want to buff your

attack power. So again, using the same

talismans, attack power is raised when HP

is max, and Shard of Alexander because

it's we're using a skill, that will boost

the skill. But this one's not really gonna

do anything, so we're not using Firepower

anyway. So you want to buff yourself with,

again, Golden Vow. Flame, Grant Me

Strength also boosts your attack power.

And Wondrous Flask again. And we go up

to this guy and just whack him. Oh,

it doesn't do as much damage. I took

some damage, so I did less damage. I

didn't have full health. So we'll try it

again and see if we can do it this time

without taking damage. Yeah,

3,245. It's not as powerful as

the Blasphemous Blade, but it is still

pretty cool. Okay, moving on to the next

weapon, you have to get the Sacred Relic

Sword. So again, this does like a hands up

in the air and slam it back down— not

really, it's more like a wave, wave of

golden light. So this is really good when

you want to do rune farming at this place.

So you go to the underground map and you

go to— where is it?

It's down here. You go to the Mogwyn

place, and I'll show you quickly. Loads of

people do this. You can see their ghosts

doing the exact same thing. So you go

here, basically just stand here and

then whoosh out some golden light, and

then you just massacre everything standing

in front of you. You get like 100,000

runes, and then just run back to the Site

of Grace, reset it— takes like 5 seconds—

you get 100,000 runes every 5 seconds.

See, they've all respawned now, and then

you just do this again.

It keeps going on for miles. And for this,

if you replace the Fire Talisman for the

Holy Talisman Sacred Scorpion Charm You'll

do even more damage because it's a holy

damage thingamajig. So put on the Blade

Give Me Fire, Give Me Strength, Golden

Vow, Wondrous Flask,

and then just whack him.

Whoops, press the wrong button. And then

whack him. Do you— oh, it didn't do that

much damage, 1,400. I think these guys are

actually resistant to holy damage. So

maybe not the best test sample. I'll try

it out on one of these smaller guys.

Eh, 2,000. It does do more spread,

see, it went all the way over there, but

it does less damage than the other ones.

I still think Blasphemous Blade is way

better, way more damage. Okay, for the

next weapon we're going to be using the

Misericorde. This is a really cool dagger,

you have to get this if you want to do

backstabs. It's got the highest critical

right strike rating in the whole game,

140 critical strike. And we're going to

put on Royal Knight's Resolve with the

fire affinity, so that gives you the

maximum damage for a backstab. And we've

got a bunch of buffs. So basically we've

got, um, basically what you really want

is the Dagger Talisman increases critical

strike hit damage by about 17%, and also

the Ritual Sword Talisman gives you attack

power boost when max HP. But the most

important thing are the incantations.

Again, I'll show you. This time we have an

extra one. We've got Darkness. So this

shrouds the area and resets the aggro

on an enemy so you can backstab them

easily. So I'll show you quickly. So

again, you want to buff yourself first

with Fire, Give Me Strength, Golden Vow.

Wondrous Flask. And then you want to go in

next to him and do Darkness, because you

can't really backstab him right now

because he's facing— back's facing the

wall. Royal Knight's Resolve. I can't— I

still can't get to his back. Hold on

there. I think I've got

him now. Okay, get around to his back and

then— but oh my god,

6,200 damage! I've never seen

it that high. I made a video before with

this dagger and I only got about 4,900. I

think the difference this time is I'm

using, uh, Flaming Grant Me Strength,

which, which gives you even more fire

damage boost. So I'll show you the Ashes

of War because we're using— where

is it— Royal Knight. We're going to use

fire flame, not flame arts, but fire.

Fire does more damage and tested out all

the different affinities. Fire gives you

the most damage. That was so cool, I want

to do it again. So pop your flask. I don't

need to pop the buffs again because I've

already, already got them. And then do

Darkness, and then don't get in its way so

it can actually move. And then Royal

Knight's Resolve, backstab. Oh, I didn't

see it. 4,400— 4,500. I don't know why

that was less. I must have messed up my

buffs. Wait, let me try again. So we do

Golden Vow— I mean, pop your flask,

Golden Vow, Flame, Give Me Strength,

back to Darkness,

and then Royal Knight's Resolve.

6,225! That is a new world record for me.

I've never done so much single target

damage with anything else. We can go and

test it out on one of these mobs here.

I don't know why sometimes I keep failing

that backstab even though I'm definitely

right behind him. Go down here maybe.

So the good thing about the Black Knight

armor set— Black Knife armor set is you

are silent, so when you jump and stuff,

you don't make any noise. Whoops, didn't

mean to do that. So you can sneak around

the enemies and miss the backstab

I really want to get like a maximum damage

one on him. Oh, only 4,000.

And finally, this weapon is really cool.

Maliketh's Blade has Destiny death as its

special attack. Maliketh's Black Blade,

also very difficult to pronounce. We're

gonna do holy attack talismans and other

talismans that buff magical stuff and also

die in a fire.
