Hello, welcome back to a new video.

So today I'm going to show you my insane

leveling DPS AOE damage build for

Mercenary in Path of Exile 2.

So basically we've got a couple skills.

We're basically going to be using Oil

Grenade and Flash Grenades and Explosive

Shot, Explosive Shot, and then for high

health bosses and mini bosses.

We've got frag shots which will do high

single target damage.

And, uh, yeah, that's basically the build.

Let me show you how it works.

So basically you round up a big group of

enemies like this or like that, and then

you chuck an oil grenade at them.

That will slow them down or pin them and

soak them in oil.

And then we just blow them up with an

explosive shot, and we're getting buffs

from the area damage— 40% increased area

damage.

So the AOE radius of the damage is going

to be much greater than it usually is.

And then if you get into a pickle, you can

use a flash grenade.

You can use a flash grenade like that,

that can help stun enemies.

It's pretty useful against bosses if you

want to stun them a lot.

Definitely recommend the flash grenade

combined with the oil grenade and the

explosive shot.

So that's what your main leveling up,

grinding, farming build is going to be

like.

So I'll just show you a bit more gameplay.

So you're going to go down here, oil these

guys all up.

Just basically want to oil everything up.

As much as possible.

You can do a flashbang, explosive shot,

everything just explodes really easily

like that.

And then you can finish people off like

that with the frag rounds.

So we've got explosive shot, we've got

magnified effect.

Now this is going to give you 40% more

area effect, so basically it's just going

to mean your explosions are going to be

40% bigger.

And primal armament is going to give you

25% more weapon elemental damage— sorry,

fire damage— and skill Scattershot is

really good for Explosive Shots.

So usually Explosive Shots just shoots 1

missile, but with Scattershot it will now

shoot an extra 2.

So you're gonna shoot out 3 at the same

time.

So that's pretty good.

And the Oil Grenade, we've got Lockdown

and Fire Infusion, 25% damage for fire.

And you can also put 500% more stun

buildup on the Flash Grenade and 50% more

stun buildup on with Overpower, so you've

got more stun buildup.

Every 5th use will give you 500% more stun

buildup, so you've got really good stun

buildup with your flash grenade.

And then you can also put maybe Reduce

Cool— oh, I use Emergency Reload as well

because that's pretty good sometimes when

you do some burst bonus damage.

And then you've got Explosive Grenades,

you could use that if you wanted to, but I

find that I never really need to use it.

I'll put, uh, Leverage on here too because

that'll give you increased damage against

pinned enemies, which be pretty good.

And then on Fragmentation Rounds, we've

got 24% more attack damage to enemies

within 1 meter of you, 35% more physical

damage, and 30% less reload speed.

So I've got a combined total of 60% more

damage on enemies with physical damage.

So that's pretty good damage.

So yeah, you got the good tools for every

situation.

You've got good AOE, like that just blows

everything up in one shot.

And then flash grenade can also kill them

as well if they're low on health.

And then if you got a slightly tougher

enemy, you can just do this—

one-shot them, one-shot them.

So against bosses, I usually use

fragmentation rounds.

And then for the skills,

uh, we've got crossbow skills maxed out

because that will give you bonus damage

with crossbows and everything.

And you could also get grenades have 15%

chance to activate a second time.

I went for attribute bonuses here, and I

put a jewel in this socket.

And then I also went for this— did I?

Oh no, I didn't.

I also went for,

uh, these ones because you get 80%

increased crit chance if you haven't

critted recently.

And this one's also very good.

You might think it's for the Warrior

because it's 2-handed weapons.

But actually, um, 2-handed weapon damage

includes crossbow damage.

So it says 12% increased damage with

2-handed weapons.

The crossbow is a 2-handed weapon, so you

get 40% increased damage.

12, 12, 12, 12, 12— that's 5 times 12 plus

40% increased 2-handed damage.

So that's pretty good for damage.

And then you also got these ones increased

projectile damage, stun buildup, 40%

increased stun buildup.

So yeah, that's really good for damage.

We're gonna do so much damage.

So yeah, it's really good when you've got

loads of enemies like that.

You oil them up, explode them.

The great thing about oil grenade is it

pins them in place as well.

So not only does it give them fire damage,

makes them take more fire damage, it also

pins them in place.

So it's really great grenade, versatile.

And exciting.

And chuck one at these guys, stun them

too,

do good damage.

And then against bosses, it's also really

good.

So I've got this boss here I need to

defeat.

Look how much damage you do against him,

especially when you crit.

Oh, look at that!

Look how much stun buildup I just did in

one hit.

I like to chuck a flash grenade too to

increase stun buildup.

I've already done so much damage to him.

See how much damage you do.

My rage burns!
