The Easiest Fastest Way To Kill Chargers At MAX Level - Helldivers 2

Today we're going to be talking about how

you can easily kill the Armored Chargers

using the Railgun, using the 2-3 shot

in the leg tactic. It's very easy, very

simple, doesn't require any difficult

training, and after just a few minutes

I'll show you exactly how to do this and

you'll be taking down Chargers on your own

just in a few shots in no time. So if

you're facing Chargers and they're quite

close to you Let them charge at you and

wait until they do the little stopping

animation and aim for their legs,

preferably the back leg because that's

undefended. Only the front of their legs

are actually armored. For some reason,

their legs are a massive weak spot, not

their heads, not their exposed bottoms,

which you'd think is a weak spot. But a

few shots to the front armored parts of

the legs will usually shatter the armor in

maybe 1 or 2 shots, depending if you're

using unsafe mode of the railgun. And then

after you've cracked the armor, you can

then use a shotgun or a pistol, anything

really, to now finish him off and blow his

leg off now that it's not armored anymore.

So basically the main goal of this is to

blow one of its legs off and that kills

it. So keep focusing on the same leg,

make sure you get at least 2 shots on the

same leg to crack its armor, and then you

can use whatever you want to finish him

off. It usually takes a few shots from a

shotgun or anything else. And then that's

basically all you have to do. Don't aim

for the head. I know it's very tempting to

try and do a headshot because in most

games going for the head is how you do a

one-shot kill, but going for the head

against Chargers is a waste of time. I've

done like 5 headshots on these things and

they do not go down, but you do a few

shots in their legs and they just fall

over like that.

And just like that, a couple shots in the

knee and it goes tumbling down. Now you

can use unsafe mode with the railgun that

will give you more damage, and you can do

maybe a 2-shot kill even if you charge it

up right to max before it blows up in your

face. But I wouldn't really recommend

this, it's kind of dangerous unless you

know the exact timing to release the

charge before it blows up. I've blown

myself up a few times by accident and it

was kind of annoying. So usually I use

safe mode because that way there's no

chance of blowing yourself up and you can

hold the charge forever. If you

accidentally charge up the gun and there's

no enemies around, or the enemy just got

killed by someone else, then you can keep

holding on to the charge and maybe wait

until you find another enemy to shoot at.

You can't do that with unsafe mode because

it'll just explode the gun. So if you want

to go armored Charger hunting, I really

like the ICBM mission because it's just

such a big map and it's not just like,

uh, stay in this place for 10 minutes

whilst doing nothing. It's like a big map

to go hunting, lots of little nooks and

crannies to explore, lots of random

encounters on the map. I think it's like

the closest to an MMO kind of feeling,

or the closest to an open world kind of

feeling you can get in Helldivers 2. It'd

be great if this game really was an MMO

like New World. That would be so cool. So

look at this, you charge up the railgun

and boom! Not dead.

Boom! I think the whole leg tactic doesn't

just apply to the Chargers, but a lot of

the enemies in the game seem to be weak if

you shoot their legs. Kind of like— what's

that game where you shoot things in the

legs? The name of it— Deep Space.

That game is all about cutting things off

by the legs, cutting their legs off. So

the railgun is interesting

because it does this,

just destroys stuff. Oh, there's a

Charger. Let's see if we can get this.

Oh, I got it in the shin! One more.

Oh, I think that got it. I think I just

two-shot it. With the railgun.

And if— apparently if you shoot the Bile

Titans in the mouth, it can one-shot them,

but you need to get the angle and the

aiming just right. I haven't managed— oh,

it's still alive. See, when I shoot off

its back leg, it keeps turning around.

The reason why you aim for the front legs,

because it will keep turning around, and

if you've shot it in the back leg— where's

he gone? I'm gonna watch there.

If you shoot it in the back leg, it will

turn around and then the back leg won't be

visible anymore. Oh, it got stuck.

So one more shot should finish it off.

Look! Oh, the leg's exposed! It's bleeding

out. I thought that would have killed it,

but no. I think I've exposed 2 of its

legs. You can just finish it off now with

a shotgun. Is it dead yet? Yeah,

once you've taken the armor off its leg,

you can just finish it off with a normal

gun. So yeah, it's pretty dead.

Let's get rid of these. Get rid of this

guy. For some reason, the shotgun seems to

work better on the Brood Commanders than

the actual railgun.

Finish these off. I don't know if we can

find another charger. These Brute

Commanders are so annoying, I swear to

Jesus. Oh, we got another Charger!

Oh, I got one in his leg! Oh, his arm is

off already! Oh, I got it right in the

leg! Did you see that? That was literally

2 shots, but I think my friend— I mean,

my ally— did some damage as well. Is he

using a railgun? Oh, he's got a railgun as

well. I think he did the second shot. I

don't know if you can shoot the armor off

whilst it's dead. Oh, you can! Look at

that. These are kind of like the Hunters

from Halo, same orange internal

kind of flesh that you shoot at. Oh, you

can shoot the armor off. I swear they

copied this from the Hunters on Halo. You

can shoot the— you can't shoot the armors

off Hunters in Halo though. Look at that.

So can you shoot the The leg off.

No, I don't know why

headshots don't really do anything.

Oh, you can shoot the head off with it.

Maybe I'll try that next time. I tried

doing the same tactic with the autocannon,

but the autocannon bullets kept

ricocheting off the front armor of the

legs. Don't know if you can do it with

the— I think with the recoilless rifle you

can do it because it's a bit more

powerful. See if I can damage this Bile

Titan on its underside.

I missed.

I think someone else killed it. This

stupid thing is biting my feet.

Oh, I found a Charger. I want to go for

its head this time. Or not.

It doesn't— it's like it heard me say I

want to go for his head and now it's

hiding his head. Come on, don't be shy.

I want to crack its head armor off.

It's not happening. Oh,

it did! So 5 or 6 shots, you can blow its

head off. Interesting. I want to try

that again. Any more Chargers? Whoa, it

just appeared out of nowhere. The good

thing about the railgun, it also stuns

them momentarily, and then you can get

another reload before it starts moving. I

think I got 2 shots on its head. 3 shots.

See the bullet holes? 4 shots. 4 shots for

a headshot on the Charger. So you can

go for the head, but it'll take more shots

than just shooting it in the leg. Kind of

weird. Oh, another Charger. I've only got

one bullet though. Where should I put it?

Oh, on its back leg. I'm out of bullets

and out of grenades. It's not good.

I have an airstrike.

I didn't realize you could call stratagems

whilst moving. If you just rebind the key

bindings for the input buttons. I

rebounded the key bindings for stratagem

input to my mouse scroll wheel and the

side buttons. Oh, there's a rail cannon.

That just blows it to pieces. They got an

airstrike. I could call in a new railgun.

I've got one shot left of my railgun.

Okay, that didn't do anything.

Just wait for my new one. Nice.

Oh, I think the railgun bullet actually

goes through multiple enemies as well,

which is pretty cool.

I want to get a headshot on this.

No, this is not working. I got this

vitality— no, stamina booster thing,

and my stamina just lasts forever. Look at

this, the stamina bar goes down so slowly.

Was that a Charger over there? I've shot

this Bile Titan a billion times. I don't

think this is a good weapon for the Bile

shotgun. You might be able to finish it

off with the grenade. I think

came off. The whole point of the railgun

is to crack the armor. Once you've cracked

it, you don't need it anymore. You can use

a normal weapon.

I don't know how many shots it takes to

shoot it up the bum though. See, look,

his armor's come off his front leg, and I

just killed it before it got to me. It

only takes a few shots from a normal

weapon when its armor's come off the leg.

Not so tough anymore.

That was such a cool dive, like Max

Payne. I got this weird bug now, I can't

select any of my weapons. Oh, I got my

main weapon, but I lost my pistol somehow.
