Guess who passed the driving test?

Me! Look what I got.

Don't look at my, uh,

license number.

I passed my driving test today.

I'll tell you all about it in a minute.

Ah, finally the driving arc is over.

The last 3 months of my life, I've just

been obsessed with driving and trying to

pass this damn test.

Ah, it's finally done.

He blew off the instructor to pass.

Actually, the examiner was a lovely lady,

which I think helped me pass. It sounds

weird, but when I was driving her around

on the test, I was kind of imagining like

we were together and I was driving my date

around. It made me feel a

little bit like that for a brief second.

So if you remember in June, I only made

one video about driving because I knew you

guys wouldn't care. So I only made one

video talking about driving and then I

thought, well, people don't really care.

I'm not going to make any more. But I

started driving lessons back in June

before I went to Malaysia. So it's been

June, July, August. It took me 3 months to

get my driving license.

And I can't, I can't believe how easy the

test was. It's insane how easy it was.

So all of my lessons, we've been doing all

this really hard stuff like driving around

the town center, doing multi-lane stuff

like 4 lanes,

4-lane— what are they called? 4-lane roads

that go around the city center and dual

carriageways and really tight, narrow

country lanes and all this really tough

stuff. And then during the test, none of

that happened. We didn't even go into the

town center. I was sure we were going to

go into the town center or go down some

really tough country lanes or go into like

a massive spiral roundabout or go into

some huge 4-lane road. But no, we just We

just drove maybe a few miles away from the

test center, drove around some residential

housing areas which were completely dead.

No people at all, just parked cars on

either side. And that was it. Half an

hour. The test was half an hour. I lucked

out so much.

I can't believe I was so worried about it.

And that was it. Also, Guess what?

Not only did I pass the test, I passed it

with zero faults.

Zero. So if you're not

familiar with the UK driving test, you're

allowed up to 15 minor faults and

they're just little things like forgetting

to check mirrors or something. And if you

get one serious fault, then you failed. I

got zero. Zero serious, obviously,

because if you get one, you fail. But I

also got zero minors.

I couldn't believe it. I thought I'd at

least get like a load of minors.

It was so scary because in the beginning

of the test they do like an eyesight test

and I couldn't read it. She said, can you

read the license plate number from that

car? And I was like this. I couldn't see a

single letter. So she— asked me to read a

different car, and still it was kind of

blurry, but I could slightly make out the

shapes, and I just kind of guessed the

first half of it. I must have got it right

because she said okay. But if I failed

that too, I would have had one more chance

to read again, and if I failed that as

well, I would have failed the test without

even getting into the car. I thought we

were gonna— I thought I was gonna fail the

test. I don't know why my glasses— I got

them in June before Malaysia, so I thought

my eyes would be fine. And even with the

instructor, we went on Sunday to do like a

test and I could read from the distance he

gave me. But I think it was further away

when, when the examiner tested me. That

was scary. I nearly failed the eyesight

check. I thought,

no way, I'm actually going to fail on the

first bit. I don't know what's wrong with

my eyes because my glasses should be

perfect because I only recently got them.

She was really nice. She was like, I'd say

she's mid-30s. I don't know. She seemed

not old. And I was kind of relieved that

I got a woman as an examiner because I

kind of feel intimidated by men a lot of

the time. Unless they're like friendly old

guy. But then a lot of men can be like

very toxic masculine, which I don't like.

But I got a woman and then took

her to my car and then she asked me to

open the bonnet. That was because you get

2 questions. They do a show me, tell me

question. So you'll get one question where

you've got to explain how something works

and then another question during the test.

Where you've got to actually press a

button that she asked for.

She just asked me where the engine coolant

tank is and how to check it, so that was

easy.

And then we just drove around half an

hour, did some roundabouts. The

roundabouts were really tiny roundabouts

and they were completely empty. And then

did some hill starts. She asked me to park

on the left a few times, which was

something I was worried about because I

kept messing that up during lessons

because he would say, find somewhere safe

to park on the left. And I'd always pick

somewhere that wasn't very safe, like on

yellow lights or near a junction or next

to another parked car. But she— every time

she said, just park behind that red car.

So she always told me exactly where to

park so I didn't have to hunt for a safe

place to park. Which I didn't expect. I

thought I had to like look for a safe

place myself. But every time she said,

can you park up on the left just behind

that car or just after that silver car?

So it was so easy. And then the

other problem I had on lessons was I kept

missing turns on directions because I

couldn't see where the road was because it

was so buried. But every direction she

gave, as soon as, as I started to approach

the junction, she would point out like

Just this one here. So I never missed any

of the turns because she pointed out every

single turn as I approached it.

Maybe she, she liked me, so she gave me

like an easy time. Do you think that's

true? Do you think because I gave a good

impression in the beginning, they gave me

an easy route? Because the route was like

a circle right outside the test center.

She didn't take me all the way down to

Coxheath. Through the country lanes. She

didn't take me to the Maidstone city

centre, town centre, where they've got all

that really confusing 4-lane,

6-lane stuff that goes around the centre.

Couldn't have asked for an easier test.

There were no cyclists, no buses or

anything to overtake, nothing. Everything

I was scared of happening, none of it

happened. Couldn't believe it. Now, one of

the things I was bad at was pulling out

into a road and then not realizing that

there's a car coming up behind and I was

slowing them down by moving out in front

of them because that would make you fail

because you're forcing them to slow down.

And none of that happened. We didn't even

go on any roads that had 2 lanes. I swear

every road we went on was just like

one-lane road. No dual lanes,

no one-way streets, no Like windy,

narrow streets. Nothing. I couldn't

believe how easy it was. There was only

one thing that worried me. We went

straight ahead through, through a

crossroad, traffic light crossroad, and it

was green. So I thought, okay, I'm just

going to go straight ahead then because

it's green. And then I saw a car coming

into the middle of the crossroad to turn

right and Usually they

would have to wait in the middle and give

way to oncoming cars. I have priority,

but the idiot just drove out in front of

me, just zoomed off when he should have

given way to me. So I quickly put my

brakes on, managed to not hit him, and

then someone beeped. But then she said,

don't worry, that's not directed at you.

I think she was like giving me a hand.

Because if I thought that was directed at

me, I might have lost my nerves and then

failed the test right at the end, right as

we're driving back to the center.

And then we did a parking maneuver in the

test center. I just did a reverse park,

got it right in between the lines, first

try. Didn't, didn't mess up the maneuver.

And we did an emergency stop. That was—

that's easy, just press the brake and then

press clutch. I can't believe I

actually passed.

And it was so easy because every single

lesson I've had, I made at least 2 serious

mistakes that would have failed me. But

last week, I think on Wednesday, I had the

worst lesson ever. I made like 6 really

serious, dangerous mistakes.

And even the instructor was worried. He

was like, if you drive like this on the

day of the test, I'm not going to let you

take the test because that was so bad.

And I was like thinking of giving up

and just not doing any more lessons if I

failed the test. But then we did Friday—

no, we did Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

We did 2 4-hour-long lessons on Saturday

and Sunday. We had a lunch break together.

Which is kind of weird. I didn't think I'd

be doing that. We did 4 hours on Saturday,

4 hours on Sunday, and then 2 hours on

Monday.

And then the lesson yesterday wasn't great

in the beginning. I missed this give

way to oncoming traffic sign and then he

had to brake me. So I was a bit annoyed at

myself and then I stalled it around the

corner. Which is also annoying. But then

the hour before today's test, I did really

well. Didn't make any mistakes.

It's finally

over. Never getting back in a car again.

Will I ever talk to the instructor again?

He asked me if I want to do Pass

Plus lessons next, which is like a 6-hour

course. And it's like

a lesson on motorways and nighttime

driving. I don't know if I want to do it.

He said we would drive down to Brighton on

the motorways and then drive back

and then do some nighttime driving, get

some fish and chips, and then I'd get a

certificate so I could get cheaper car

insurance. But I don't know. I already

paid for a year of car insurance with my

mum's car. Plus I've already been on the

motorway and I'm not, I'm not really

scared of the motorway. I don't know why

people think the motorway is scary. It's

not. You just go on it and then you do 70.

You can do 60 miles per hour on the

motorway, it's fine. People even do like

55 miles per hour on the motorway. You

don't have to do 70.

Just stay in the left lane behind all the

big lorries that are doing 60, but 70 is

not really that scary when you're on the

motorway. You just overtake and you stay

in your lane and go forwards, and then

it's pretty obvious where you have to get

off because there's all these signs, and

then just move over to the left when you

need to get off. I don't really think the

motorway is scary.

What else? Nighttime driving? I'm not sure

how I'd feel. I mean, I could go driving

now. That'd be funny. I don't know when

I would go driving again because I don't

really have a reason to go driving now. I

lost my British girlfriend. Well, I think

I've lost her. She hasn't messaged me in 3

weeks now, so I think it's safe to say

she's not interested anymore.

So you won't be buying a car?

Hmm, I don't know.

I'm not sure because I'm thinking of going

to Thailand to meet this girl, or maybe

some other place to travel to first and

then buy the car. And I've already paid

for a year of insurance on my mum's car,

so I might as well use her car, get some

practice in for like a year, and then

after a year think about getting my own

car because the Thai thing is probably not

going to work out. But I might as well

just go and have some fun, and then when

it blows up, come back home. By then Japan

might reopen, and then I go to Japan for a

bit and then come back home. Then I might

think about getting a car,

but I'm kind of burnt out on driving.

I've just been non-stop driving Nearly

every day for weeks and months.

I can't believe I did 4-hour lesson back

to back, day after day. I did like 4

hours, 4 hours, 2 hours, and today 2

hours. Every day I've been driving for

hours. I just don't really— I wanna have a

bit of a break from driving for a bit and

kind of reevaluate what I want to do in

life now. Now I've got the license, a lot

of pressure is off my shoulders now. As

long as I don't lose it. I mean, I could

have— I could make some terrible mistake,

get a load of points, lose my license,

have to do it all over again, which I

wouldn't. If I lost my license, I'm not

doing it again because you have to— I

don't know, maybe I could do it again. I

wouldn't get lessons. I don't feel like I

need lessons anymore because you got to

redo the theory test. I guess I could do

it again.

Why do you want to go to Japan when you

always complain about being there?

Because complaining about stuff gets

views, didn't you notice? I'm got— I

got 650k views by complaining about why

Japan sucks. If I made a video called Why

I Love Japan, how many views do you think

it'd get? It'd get like nothing.

Negativity brings views, unfortunately.

When you've got nothing else to offer,

then All you can do is just

moan and try and trigger people, which is

what I've learned. Look at my Elden Ring

video, 800K views. YouTube is

so dumb.

YouTube promotes negativity.

Such a dumb website, I swear. It's just so

stupid how it— it's like the algorithm

promotes negativity. I mean, it's like

everything else, like news.

Sensationalist news is always really

negative. It's always bad news. Oh, the

world's collapsing. Boo-hoo. It's because

it gets people's attention.

I don't really know why I want to get back

to Japan so much. I don't have a wife

anymore. I don't think she would get back

with me. I'm kind of bored

of Japanese girls. Japanese girls are so

boring. I've got one Japanese woman that I

did a phone call with a few weeks ago and

it was so boring. I just— I can't be

bothered. I've never— I don't remember

ever speaking to a Japanese woman and

thinking, wow, this is so much fun.

It's always the same conversations, like,

oh, in England, what famous food do you

have? And then I go, we have fish and

chips. What do you have? And we have

shepherd's pie. It's always the same

boring conversations. I don't know, I'm

just fed up with Japanese women. Maybe a

Thai woman would be more fun.

It feels so good to to finally pass this,

because for my whole life driving has been

like this massive mental block,

because I always just saw driving as

something only adults do, and I never

really saw myself as an adult.

It always just seemed like something that

I'm not allowed to do because I'm not a

proper adult. I'm like a kid.

But then after driving so much, you start

to think, actually, this is not— it's not

really hard. It's not hard. It's not

really that scary either. It's quite fun.

It can be quite relaxing as well if you're

not being watched by an instructor nagging

you about everything. I bet my instructor

is so happy. I'm like his one of— it's

so funny because I'm like one of his best

students now. He said he only ever had

about 6 other students who passed perfect,

clean sheet, zero faults, first time.

Would you say this is first time? Because

technically I did fail the test back in

2007 or '08, but that was such a long time

ago. I don't remember anything. It was

like 15, 16 years ago. So do you

think I can say this was my first, first

time passing it? Although technically it

was my second time.

I also did the emergency stop perfectly

when he taught me it. He said, he said,

Daniel, I've only ever had 5 students who

got the emergency stop perfect first time,

so don't worry if you mess it up. And I

did it perfect first time. I don't know

how you could not do it perfect though.

It's so easy. You just Straight away when

he says stop, put your foot on the brake,

and when it's nearly stopped, then clutch

down and handbrake neutral.

So easy.

I watched so many of these mock tests on

YouTube and people kept getting minor

faults for doing stuff like not checking

the mirrors when they indicate. Or not

checking all around when they move off,

which is like the easiest thing. I don't

know how they can forget that. I heard

some people forgot to put the seatbelt on

and they failed the test straight away

because apparently the examiner won't tell

you if you've got your seatbelt on or not.

I was so scared I'd fail the test like a

minute after getting out of the test

Oh, it was nerve-wracking.

This, this has to be one of the most

stressful things I've ever done in my

life. And I don't know why.

There was just so much pressure. And then

if I failed, I would have to wait another

month or more to get a new test unless I

get lucky and get a cancellation. And then

I don't know. If my eyes weren't good

enough, I'd have to go to the optician

again and get new glasses. That could take

weeks. And I just paid £500 for these

glasses. Thank God I passed the eyesight

test. Am I still in contact with Elvis

Alien? He actually messaged me today. He

said congrats. No, he said, well done,

Daniel. It's funny he still looks at

my stories and stuff on Instagram.

Ah, now I've got to think what I want to

do. I just— right now I just want to do

nothing because I've been so stressed out

these last few weeks and months doing

lessons and revising and studying test

stuff. Then I had to

Go on lessons. So I never had a free day.

Well, I had a few free days, but didn't

really feel like a day off. And then I had

to do the test, and then I had to see that

British girlfriend, which I didn't really

like. I'm so glad that it was that easy to

break up with her. I thought it'd be

really, really hard to block her, but I

didn't even have to block her. She's

great. I love it when, when girls just get

fed up with you and then they do the hard

work for you and then you don't have to do

the hard thing yourself, like telling them

you're not interested, which I don't

usually tell them. I just block them or

I asked a few weeks ago if your driving

test was the 30th, same as, as mine was.

Yeah, it was today. Also, guess what?

Guess what time my test was? You won't

believe what time my exam was.

11 minutes past 11:00 in the morning.

I'm not joking. I literally got a test

exam booking slot at 11:11.

1-1-1-1. Can you believe it? And you guys

think the whole twin flame thing is a load

of nonsense. See, me and Mila were meant

for each other. And one of the big

motivations I had for getting my driving

license is because when Mila came and she

was here back in 2020, one of the things

she said that, that really stuck with me

during lockdown was, actually, I kind of

wish you could drive. She said that to me

and I thought, I mean, usually I used to

get really defensive and upset

when people said to me, why don't you

learn to drive, Daniel? Why? How come you

didn't get your license? I used to get

really upset and say, well, I don't need a

car. I don't go anywhere. I can use public

transport. I don't have anywhere I need

to— I come up with all these dumb excuses

to justify not doing the test. But when

Maeda said it, I thought to myself for the

first time in my whole life, Actually,

yeah, it would actually be nice to have a

car and be able to drive. We could have

done a lot more things.

It would have felt wholesome having a car

and a girlfriend, go to places, go to

like, I don't know, Homebase, Tesco's,

and buy stuff, put it in the car, come

back home. It sounds nice and wholesome.

So even though she dumped me,

I guess I could thank her for a bit of

motivation. And then I got motivated again

when I did some dating in England and

realized, yeah, using public transport and

trains to meet girls really sucks in

England because there's only one train

every hour. Certain places you need to

take several trains to. And then because

of all the train strikes that happened

this year, was like the last straw. These

idiots refuse to work and they go on

strikes, ruin— I mean, I was supposed to

go on a date, I think 2 weeks

after I got back from Malaysia. I was

supposed to see that girl and I was

supposed to go to her house because her

mum was away, but I couldn't get a train

to nearby where she lived and she didn't

want to come drive all the way to

Maidstone, so I had to cancel it. It's a

stupid network and rail networks all went

on strike. So fuck you, train people. I'm

never going to get on the train again.

I don't know. I probably will. But if I do

any more dating in England, I probably

won't use the train.

So dumb, isn't it? They're trying to

reduce carbon

emissions by getting people to use public

transport. Well, they just did the

opposite, and they converted a public

transport lover into now a car driver.

And that's, that's partly their fault, so

they can suck it. Boo-hoo, we're not

getting paid enough, go on strike.

Why don't you just get a better job then?

It's like they think they're the only ones

who want more money, ruin everyone's life

striking. Stupid train strikes.

Anyway, I don't have any more British

girlfriends now and I got banned on the

dating app again. So annoying. I thought I

finally got away with my new dating

account because they didn't ban me for

maybe— I think nearly 4 months I got away

without being banned. I got banned again.

I can't be bothered to remake it now.

It's just so frustrating having to make

new profiles. So I don't

know, I've still got my Tinder, so that's

not banned yet, but I never match anyone

who's actually cute. The only girls who

ever match are really fat and ugly.

Why can't I match like slightly better

looking girls? I don't get it. Why do I

always match unattractive people?

I'd rather just not bother if that's what

I'm gonna match.

Did I really buy a car? No, I was just

messing around. I went to a car dealership

and had a look at some cars, filmed some

videos, but I didn't buy it. Why did I get

banned? Because I stupidly thought I got

shadow banned on Tinder, so I thought,

well, if I'm shadow banned, I'm just gonna

have some fun and put my penis as my

profile picture. Turns out I

don't understand because people did see

my messages, but I wasn't seeing any

replies from people. So my Tinder account

was completely screwed. So I thought,

well, I don't care anymore. I'm just gonna

put my penis as my profile picture. I

didn't know that Tinder owned all of the

other dating apps. So now I get banned on

every other dating app that's owned by

Match. It's the Match Group.

They probably share all the same

databases. So if, if they find my face on

one of their other apps, they

automatically ban me now.

So a bit annoying, but I guess it's my

fault. I didn't know, I really didn't know

that the same company owned all these apps

and that if you get banned on one of them,

you get banned on all of them.

Funny thing is, I'm back on Tinder, they

haven't banned me yet, but they banned me

on the other ones.

But I kind of Don't really care at the

moment.

You need to go on a road trip. Yeah, I got

to think of something to do with my

newfound ability. I could drive

to Europe. Get get some

kind of car. I need to get the

international driving license, which I

think you just pay £100. And then just get

it. It looks easy. You drive down to Dover

and then drive your car onto a train, and

then the train goes under the Channel

Tunnel, in the Channel Tunnel, and then

you arrive in Calais in France. But then

you gotta drive on the right side of the

road, which seems weird. And then my

steering wheel is on the right side.

Everyone else's steering wheel in Europe

is on the left side. Driving on the right

side with a right-sided steering wheel

sounds weird. Plus, when you get to the

motorway, you've got to pay to get onto

the motorway. The, the ticket booth where

you pay is on the left side of the car

because everyone in Europe drives— has a

steering wheel on the left side of the car

so they could reach over. How am I going

to reach over that far? You need a

passenger, or I'd have to get out of the

car. Well, I'd have to have like a really

long arm.

Stupid Europe, you have to pay to get onto

the motorway. I think you can get some

kind of automatic scanner thing that you

put in the front of the window and then it

beeps and charges you like that.

But driving in Europe sounds a bit scary.

Maybe I should practice a bit in England

first, go all around.

Germany, then France.

in Japan. Yeah, I can drive in Japan,

Thailand as well. Loads of other

I've been watching Connor's livestream.

They did a 7-hour livestream cycling in

Hokkaido. Chris is so grumpy all the time.

People think I'm grumpy and whiny and

negative. You should see Chris Broad on

the livestream. People think, oh, it's

just like his YouTube persona. He does

that for the videos. He exaggerates his

personality and he's all sarcastic and

negative in the videos, but he's like that

all the time. You can't fake that for

7 hours straight on livestream. That's

actually what he's like. But he's way

worse in real— in streams. He's like way

more grumpy and he's just

mean. Like the way he insults Connor. I

know it's just like friends bantering,

but sometimes he's like really rude to

Connor for no reason. It kind of rubs

me the wrong way. I don't know why he gets

so— he sounds angry a lot of the time.

Maybe he's just like really stressed out.

I feel like I'd be scared if I was around

Chris. Like, he'd be really annoyed and

grumpy all the time.

Funnily, Chris asked you not to mention he

is from Langley. It's funny because I

drove through Langley couple of days ago.

I actually drove past my school friend's

house. Not, not Chris,

but I had these 2 other friends called Max

and Seth. They lived in Leeds. And I

remember Seth's house had like a funny

name with a fish, trout or something.

And I got a serious mistake there because

the instructor put his brakes on, not on

the test, on a lesson. But there was an

oncoming— give way to oncoming traffic

sign and a yellow grid box. I saw it, but

then I looked up the road and it looked

clear, so I thought I'd speed up a bit.

But then 2 stupid cars came out of nowhere

towards us pretty quickly, and I should

have stopped, but I thought, uh, maybe

I'll keep going. Then the instructor was

like, nope, brakes down. The give way

line was so faded. I was so pissed off at

that. I should have known. But those

houses were my friends' houses. They lived

there. I went to that house. I went to

both of them. Max's. I remember Max said,

oh my God, I just remembered now. I

remember one time Seth told me he

looked into Max's garden one time. He saw

Max sucking off his brother.

Do you think that's true? I can't believe

it. Is that like something brothers do

when they were kids? Who here has a

brother and you like sucked each other off

when you were 10 years old for fun? I

remember one time I was like 7 years old

and me and my best friend Ricky, we showed

each other our willies. We went into one

of the bedrooms and we closed the door.

My mum caught us and like scolded us.

And then I had a sleepover sleepover with

Seth and we were like rolling around in

the bed. So, so gay.

But when you're a kid, none of that is

like sexual at all. You're just playing.

I find that Max sucking off his brother

story somewhat believable.

But I drove past the houses and the area

my mum used to drive me and my sister

around a lot when we were kids. Brought

back a lot of memories. Didn't go to

Sutton Valence, which is where I used to

live. I want to go there again.

I looked on Google Maps and it looks

almost exactly the same apart from they've

bricked over the garage door. They turned

the garage into a living room, which is so

weird. My dad— that was my grandmother's

house. After my grandmother divorced my

grandfather, who lived in this house, she

ran away and remarried with this guy

called Tom. And then they moved into this

house. They bought a house in Sutton

Valence where my dad and his brother lived

in too. And then after my grandmother got

old, they— she moved into like a nursing

home. Not really a nursing home, but like

an old people's home. Then my dad,

I think he just bought the house from her.

And then that's where me and my sister and

my mum lived, where I was raised until

age 11. But the garage, my dad

built that as like an extension of the

house. It wasn't originally there, but it

was a garage with a car and like concrete

floor and it was all grimy. And now it's a

sitting room. They put carpet in it and

sofas. You can see it on the house

property website. You can see pictures of

it on the inside. But all the other stuff,

like the hosepipe fixture on the wall, is

the same. The wall outside is the same.

The same white electric gate's still

there. It's so weird seeing it all just

like frozen in time. Nothing changed

much.

Why are the comments off on the Chris

video? Because my comments were just— I

kept getting like spam comments from

stupid people going, you sound crazy,

Chris didn't owe you anything,

like lecturing me. They honestly cannot

tell that the video was like, like a piss

take, like a joke video that I wasn't

really serious. I was just being

overdramatic and a bit of acting, really.

People really can't tell when you're doing

a bit of acting.

Didn't realize my acting was so great. It

was such a cheesy video. I was like,

in this video I want to talk about Chris.

Something happened and I kept it a secret

until now, but I'm finally going to I

can't remember what I said, but I was like

really dramatic in it. People took it so

seriously, which is like story of my

YouTube life, people taking all my videos

so seriously.

Wasn't I saying something like,

me and Chris will never be friends, so I'm

just gonna burn the bridge, blah blah

blah. But somehow

the Chris Broad video did really well in

the YouTube algorithm because it really

got the attention of his viewers. Because

the, the Abroad in Japan fanboys, they

will watch anything that has Chris Broad

in the title. You notice how like every

single YouTuber in Japan has Chris on

channels that have like 100K subs even 50K

subs, they, they all want Chris on their

channel because they have Chris Broad in

one of their videos, they'll get triple

they normally get. Because the

anything no matter what channel it's on.

reason? It just seems like they're being

mean.

That's why I don't really get along with

alpha tough guy British guys, because

British guys in England, they just like to

take the piss out of each other all the

time. And it annoys me. I don't really

take it very well because I take stuff way

too seriously. I don't really take it well

when I get mocked, to be honest. I feel

kind of insulted. I get insulted pretty

easily over tiny things.

kind of sad. I'd be like, yeah, and I'm

So I fulfill my social needs by either

watching livestreams or doing livestreams,

but not having actual direct social

interactions in real life. It's kind of

girlfriend here and there. I've had the

normal life before. In my early 20s, I

went to Japan, lived in guesthouses, had

social friends. Friendship groups, and

there's always one or two people that just

really piss me off.

I haven't really talked about it much

because it was such a long time ago, but

2010, my first time in Japan in Osaka, I

lived in a guest house. I made a load of

Korean friends and I had a Korean

girlfriend, but there was this one

Japanese guy I really, really hated. His

name was Kei, and he was like nearly

40 or in his mid-30s. And he was just

really rude and he seemed to really

dislike me for some reason. I could sense

it like he, he didn't like me. He didn't

respect me. He thought that I was like a

spoiled brat.

For example, one time,

because we always ate together, And for

some reason he would just insert himself

into our group, into like the Korean

group, which I was part of because I was

dating the Korean woman. And then he would

kind of sit with us and eat with us.

And one day me and the other Korean guy,

we made a load of curry for everyone to

eat and I helped. I cut the vegetables and

I prepared stuff. And then K comes home

from work because he works at NHK, you

know, You know those people who, who go

around house to house pestering people to

pay for NHK license like the BBC? He

would— he did that kind of job. And he

came back from work and we were getting

ready to eat together,

and then he was like really pissed off for

some reason that I was eating too.

But then the Korean guy stood up for me

and he was like, Daniel helped make it,

so stop being mean to him. But he like

really didn't like me for some reason,

and he just made the whole thing really

awkward and uncomfortable. A lot of guys

didn't like me at the guest house. Like

there was this black guy called Mac from

America. Typical American alpha

guy wannabe, thinks he's so cool, so

confident, talks a lot and loud. Like

imagine American stereotype. He was like

that. And he seemed really triggered that

I was sleeping with the French girl. He

would mock me all the time. He'd be like,

why do you like Daniel? He's like not a

real man. He's like a boy. And then

he was like trying to massage the French

girl and she was telling him to stop. He

seemed so triggered that I was getting sex

and then he wasn't. Because he thinks I'm

not a real man, not an alpha man. A lot

of guys at the guesthouse didn't like me

because I was like a man-child, but girls

liked me and I was still getting sex.

used to like me at guesthouses.

Despite me not being like a mature,

responsible man that you could rely on if

a war broke out and you needed your bros

to have your back. That's why there's like

the bro code, isn't there? Because

traditionally men have always had to fight

for their lives against other groups of

men. You had to have your bros to have

your back, otherwise you just wouldn't

survive. And you see another guy and he's

like a man-child and he's feminine and you

just look at them and you think, you, you

are going to be absolutely no help if we

had to like fight off another tribe. You

would be useless. I would not rely on you

to have my back. And that's why people

don't like man-children or like feminine

guys. It's like that basic caveman

instinct of I

need my bros to have my back, and they

need to be on my level of reliability and

toughness. And if you're not, then you're

just a liability. Does that make sense?

That was my theory why a lot of guys don't

like me, because I would just be useless

in that kind of caveman environment.

I'd probably just run away, hide in the

woods with the women. I'd be like that

guy, you know, that guy on Titanic? Who,

who picks up someone else's child so he

can get on a lifeboat and run away. I'd be

him. I'd be that guy.

Your offspring would also weaken the

tribe. Yeah, I know. That's why people

don't like me. It's because I'm not a

reliable member of a tribe. People can

sense that. They can suss it out. It's

part of human evolution for the last

50,000 years or whatever. It was important

for the survival of your own tribe. You

needed strong members. The weak members

would get bullied, outcasted, made fun of,

not respected.

I understand how humans work. I've been

studying for decades, been observing your

ways. Beta male. Yeah,

but somehow I still manage to get

girlfriends and sex and have a comfy life.

And that, that pisses a lot of people off.

People think I don't deserve it.

You don't live in that age anymore. Yeah,

but nearly all of human basic human

instinct instincts are still from like

that reptilian brain from the caveman

days. Technology and society

may have evolved a lot, but the human

brain is probably not that different.

It's still like very ape,

reptile-like.

It's just we have laws now.

or most people follow.

Yes. It's another thing people think is

sad. A lot of people are like,

Daniel, how are you happy in life? You

live with your mum and you're 33. But they

don't understand. Like, from the outside

perspective, yeah, sure, my life seems

sad. 33 grown man living with his mum.

But from my perspective, if you were in my

shoes, you would understand why.

Because my house is so nice and this area

is so pretty and peaceful.

And I've tried moving out and living in

cities and towns. I just hated it so much.

Lived in Rotterdam. That was horrible.

Even though I had the puff, I had like the

girl of my dreams as a girlfriend, I was

miserable because I hated Rotterdam,

hated that apartment, hated the people in

the area. Just having

a girlfriend, that didn't make me happy.

Central Rotterdam was insanely expensive

and also outskirts in kind of like

countryside-ish of Rotterdam was not

cheap. I needed to be nearby to her and

that apartment was perfect location-wise.

It took her 10 minutes to get to my place

by bicycle. It's perfect. She was so close

she could easily come over to my place.

If I lived somewhere else like The Hague

or Amsterdam, How's she gonna come see me?

It would take her like 4 hours to get to

me and 4 hours back. We wouldn't see each

other as much. So I had no choice.

Google Maps and I found Mila's

grandmother's house. I was just curious,

so I was looking at Rotterdam again on

Google Maps and And I found her house and

there's Google Street Map images dating

back to 2009. I didn't know they did this,

but they actually archive the, the

previous year's Google Street Images. And

there was an image of her house from 2009

and then I think 2014, 2018,

2020, and 2021. And I checked

every single one. I found her grandmother

sitting outside the house in the 2014

I wish I tried finding myself because

actually I went to the Google Street Image

of 2020, November or

October, and I found the apartment I was

living in in Rotterdam and I could see the

chair because I put a chair up against the

window to hold the curtain in place. That

was me. I put that there. I must have been

inside. I went all the way up the street

to the supermarket to see if me and Mila

were walking along the street. I couldn't

find myself. I was probably inside or
