to show you the ultimate lightning build

for the Mercenary in Path of Exile 2 using

the skill Shock Burst Rounds. Very deadly

skill, and basically what it does is after

you shock an enemy, um, you shoot them

with the Shock Burst Rounds and that'll do

explosive lightning damage. And we've got

3,600 DPS, and we've got these gems.

Lightning Infusion gives you extra

lightning damage. Elemental Focus gives

you extra elemental damage. Primal

Armament gives you extra elemental damage.

And what we're going to do is we're going

to use either the Voltaic Grenade or the

Galvanic Shards to trigger a shock. So

what we do is— you, you can't really

trigger a shock using Shockwave—

Shockburst Rounds. So what we do is you do

a shock So they are shocked, and now you

switch to the shock burst rounds, and that

will blow them up and do insane damage.

So you can also do a Voltaic Grenade like

that, and that didn't shock it, but

usually it does. So damage is not very

good if they're not shocked. Um, so watch

this big guy. We shock him with the

grenade. He's shocked. Oh, he's not

shocked. Hold on. Okay, he's shocked now,

that will do massive damage and shock them

So I really want like a big group of

enemies so I can show you what it's really

yeah, so these are shocked. I see it just

one-shot them all and did a big chunk of

DPS on him. Problem is

sometimes you don't always get a shock,

so you want to make sure your shocking

chances are as high as possible.

And, um, yeah, so you shock them like

that and then they get shocked, and then

shock them like that and shock

them. The problem is they usually die

without you needing to use Shock Burst

rounds, which is a bit annoying.

But they're shocked, and then they will

explode, and they explode. And do another

grenade. Uh, it seems like using

the Voltate grenade has a higher chance of

shocking them, so you might just want to

chuck a grenade at them and then spam

Shock Burst waves rounds. So here

The problem is with these little bug

things, galvanic shards does seem to be

more effective.
