Hey, so it's been 9 days since I got

married to my girlfriend in Japan, and I

just wanted to make this video to talk

about how being married has changed my

life, how it's changed the relationship

between me and my girlfriend, and how I

feel about being married. To be honest,

it doesn't actually feel any different.

Nothing has changed at all. It's exactly

the same as it was before we got married.

It still doesn't really feel like we

actually got married, I guess. It hasn't

really sunk in yet that we actually did

get married. People keep asking me,

aren't you going to have a wedding

ceremony? Aren't you going to get dressed

up and have a big party? Isn't she going

to wear a white wedding dress? And we

don't have any plans to do any of those

things. I'm, I'm not really interested in

having a wedding ceremony. I'm not good

with crowds. I don't really want people to

come to my wedding ceremony apart from my,

my parents, my sister. And I'm not really

interested in buying an expensive suit or

spending loads of money on a fancy party

that's only going to last one day. My

wife, she's already been married once

before, and she's already done all of this

fancy wedding ceremony stuff. She wore the

white dress, she, she had a big wedding

cake, she had a big wedding ceremony, and

a few years later, that wedding, that

marriage didn't work out and they got

divorced. So I don't really think that she

wants to do all of that again. I'm not

really a huge fan of wedding ceremonies or

church weddings. I went to my cousin's

wedding in England and he had, he had a

traditional church wedding where he, he

walked his bride down the aisle and they

said their vows in front of a load of

relatives and strangers and people. And I

was there as well and I thought the whole

thing was just really stupid and cringy

and I could never imagine myself doing the

same thing, and I really would not like to

have a wedding ceremony or a church

wedding. It just seems really lame. And

then isn't it kind of embarrassing if the

marriage doesn't work out and you get

divorced after spending so much money on a

big fancy wedding?

Kind of feels like you just wasted a load

of money on something that you didn't

really have to do. You could have, could

have used that money to buy food. Or to

buy— I don't know, the other things that

people buy. It still feels really strange

having to call my girlfriend my wife now.

I keep accidentally calling her my

girlfriend in videos or when I'm talking

to other people. Sometimes we joke about

it, we call each other my wife or my

husband, and then we laugh because it's

still kind of strange for us both. My

wife's family doesn't actually know that

we got married. They knew that we were

planning on getting married and they were

really against the idea. Her mum was

really angry and upset about it, but she

didn't know that we actually got married

the very next day after my girlfriend told

her mum that we were planning on getting

married. I think she would be pretty

shocked if she found out that we actually

went ahead and did it. And some people

don't actually believe that we got

married. They think that I'm making it up.

And some people don't believe that we got

married. They think that I'm just making

it up, and I have proof. I have this piece

of paper. It isn't actually a marriage

certificate, but it's proof. It's, it's,

um, it's a document that says that we are

legally married, and I want to show it to

you later, but there's, there's a lot of

personal information on it— names,

addresses— and it might be a bit tricky to

show this to you without accidentally

revealing that personal information. I

guess I do feel slightly more emotionally

connected to my wife. When we were just

boyfriend and girlfriend, it felt more

temporary, like the relationship could end

at any moment. But now we're married, it

does feel like it's more of a permanent

relationship. I know we could get

divorced, or I could just go home and then

ghost her and just ignore her messages,

but that would be— that would be wrong.

That wouldn't be a nice thing to do, and I

don't think I'd be capable of doing that.

Because, because I'm not, I'm not evil and

I'm not cold-hearted like some people like

to think. And that would just make me feel

sad, and I'd feel sad for her.

Okay, so this is the, the piece of paper I

was showing you earlier, and I have to be

very careful not to accidentally show you

my wife's name or my name or other

personal information. And you may have

already noticed that this is written in

Japanese, so Unless you can speak Japanese

or read Japanese, then I don't think

you're going to be able to understand

this. The problem is I can't show you

anything that's underneath my hand because

it's just covered in our names, our

address, date of births. I don't really

want people to see. I know it's in

Japanese and most of you won't even be

able to read it anyway, but some of you

might be able to read Japanese, and

recently I have a lot of Japanese haters

who would love to find out this

information. Just says stuff like the

person's name who is going to get married

and the person's date of birth. Middle one

says divorce, and we had to write down—

she had to write down information about

the person that she got divorced with last

year. And the bottom one is marriage, and

that's where my name goes because she's

getting married to me. And this last

sentence at the bottom says This piece of

paper is, is proof that

the following people have been registered

into the family register. Something like

that. So hopefully that should be enough

proof to convince you that we did get

married. I do sometimes get a bit

irritated when people accuse me of lying

or making up stories just for views or for

videos, when I've never made up any story.

Everything's 100% true. Sometimes I can

show you proof like that piece of paper.

And I don't mind showing you things if I

have something that I can show to you,

but sometimes I have stories. For example,

the Australian guy— there's no way that I

can prove that that actually happened

unless the Australian guy sends me those

videos that he has of him with my wife

doing those kinky things. If he really

wanted to take out some kind of revenge

against me, he could easily send those

videos straight to me, because if you go

to my YouTube about page, I have my Gmail

address written there. I have links to my

Twitter and Instagram where you can send

me a private message. And yeah, that's a

little bit scary. I think it's still a bit

too early to be able to tell if the

marriage is going to work out or not, and

we were off to a bit of a rocky start

thanks to the Australian guy. But since we

got married, everything's been okay. We

haven't had huge arguments, and I really

feel like we've bonded, and we've had some

great cereal recently, so Hopefully things

will continue this way.

Is it time for lunch yet? I want to show

you something that I bought the other day,

and I think it's pretty interesting. You

know how everyone's always complaining

about, about my kitchen knife? They keep

saying that this metal one isn't sharp and

it's really blunt. Well, I decided,

I decided to buy to buy this bad boy.

Look at this. This is a— if

it can focus— this is a ceramic kitchen

knife and it's really sharp. Let me show

you.

It's so sharp. I don't even have to put

any effort into slicing or cutting things.

I just rub the blade of the knife across

things and it just cuts. It's like it just

cuts things automatically without me

having to put any energy into it. It's

amazing. I've prepared something fairly

simple for us to have for lunch today.

We're going to have these cheddar smoked

sausage sausages, and inside of the

sausages there should be cheese, even

though in this picture you can't actually

see the cheese. We also have some sweet

pickles, which are a bit too sweet for my

liking. Look, we got some new plates.

It's made out of plastic because my wife's

a bit clumsy and she drops stuff and she,

she breaks a lot of things like cups. She

broke a cup, it's down there now. She

broke the handle by dropping it. But I

think it's a nice-looking plate, even has

some cool French words on the middle which

looks pretty trendy. Not sure what it

means. And this is the current state of

our frying pan. I know it doesn't look

great. I tried washing it and I tried

wiping or scrubbing this black stuff off,

but I just can't get it off.

Oh, you nearly got me there,

you naughty boy. You like sausages, do

you? Perhaps some more. Look at that.

Whoops, I completely forgot about the

onions. Let's put the onions in there

quickly before it starts to There you go.

Cooking with Daniel, so much fun. It's

already starting to burn. Shit. So we're

gonna let those fry for a bit, and I have

some bread prepared in the grill. The

sausages are starting to burn, so I

decided to put them on top of the onions

to prevent them from burning. I'm such a

genius. And we can also start grilling the

bread now. Oh no, the onions are burning

and starting to stick to the frying pan.

I nearly burnt the bread.

And there we have it. For the final touch,

I think, I think we all know what's coming
