Top 5 Best DLC Weapons! (NO SPOILERS) Elden Ring： Shadow of the Erdtree

Hello, welcome back to a new video. So

today we're going to be testing out some

of the top 5 strongest best weapons in

Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, starting off

with Devonia's Hammer. So this is an

interesting holy hammer and it's got like

additional holy damage. It's a special

move called Devonia's Vortex which

basically just slams it onto the ground

after spinning it around your head and

does this massive splash AOE of holy

damage. So because it's holy damage,

obviously you want the Sacred Scorpion

charm and you want your Wondrous Physick

to be doing holy damage buffs. So if we

sneak up on these guys after fully

buffing, you can just see how good the

damage is. So the spin thing doesn't do

any damage, but this AOE thing does like

7,000 damage, which is pretty good. And

because it's a heavy weapon, it staggers

the enemy every hit. It does some pretty

crazy damage. If you're into two-handed

big hammers, then you're really going to

enjoy this weapon, I think.

And also the heavy attack on this thing is

pretty devastating. And you can see if I

go up to these guys and do Davonia's

Vortex again, it takes a while to charge

up, but damn, that damage is

pretty impressive. So it does like a burst

of damage, not just one hit of damage.

But yeah, you want to boost your holy

attacks, your strength, all that kind of

stuff to do maximum damage. So again,

Devonia's Vortex. Yeah, I give this

weapon like a B grade. Look at that,

Jesus Christ, what are you doing,

Pushkin? Yes, what's wrong?

Okay, and then again, just smash

him. One shot. Spin this round.

Oh, he nearly got me before I finished it.

Yeah, this is a pretty cool weapon. Okay,

moving on to the next weapon, we have the

Occult Blacksteel Great Hammer. So again,

keeping within the theme of hammers, this

is a massive hammer. Look at this thing,

it just smashes everything. And I put

Royal Knight's Resolve because I found out

that if you go for like a pure critical

hit damage kind of playstyle with

Two-Handed Sword Talisman and Axe

Talisman. You could do some devastating

heavy attacks using Royal Knight's

Resolve. So I've fully buffed up, and

watch this. We take— take— took— taken

the flask as well. Do Royal Knight's

Resolve, crouch, go stealth, and then

watch the wind-up on this.

9,000 damage! That's crazy.

We've got Crusade Insignia, so the next

one should do more damage after we kill

something. And we're losing health because

I put the Bloodsucking Cracked Tear along

with this Strength Knot Tear. So watch

this, this should do even more insane

damage. Watch this, watch. Oh,

10,700! This 2-handed hammer

is out of this world.

Watch this, watch. I probably one-shot

this guy. Oh, 8,000 damage!

4,932 damage.

That's a lot of damage, and it's not hard

to get this weapon. You get it early on in

the game. It's pretty good for just

smashing things very hard. You want to

focus on heavy attacks. You want to get

Royal Knight's Resolve. No messing around

with stupid skills and abilities, just

pure damage. Oops. Okay,

next weapon we have the Solitary

Greatsword of Solitude, and it's got this

cool Solitary Moon Slash special ability,

and it just slams the weapon down into the

ground. We're gonna go again for like a

Golden Vow buff your strength kind

of playstyle. Just buff everything,

sneak up on the guy.

Oh, 3,000 damage! That's pretty good,

don't you think? Look, it's just Quick

Slash. Because it's

a heavy sword, it's gonna do staggering

damage every hit.

Pretty good, good weapon if you want like

a simple Greatsword.

Also, it looks pretty cool, one-shots

everything. Solitary Moon Slash.

Yeah, good downward slash, can't really go

wrong with that. Look at that,

pretty good, pretty nice,

pretty good. Oh, next we have to talk

about the m'lady. This is a really cool

weapon. So it's very slashy and stabby.

It's very quick, light, quick to go, good

for blood builds. I like to put Double

Slash on it so it does this, very rapid

blows. It's a pretty cool weapon for like

a blood build, rapid slashing. It's not

really like single amazing high damage in

one hit build. It's more of a slashy

slashy, but it's pretty cool because of

how quick it is. And it looks cool as

well, which is most important. So watch

this. Look at that, I just 2-shot him with

the Double Slash. Double Slash is great

because it doesn't just do double slashes,

it does like a whole combo if you keep

going with it. So yeah, it does like stab.

It's very artistic. Look, do like stab,

spin, overhead spinny slash.

It's pretty cool. Builds up the blood loss

really quickly as well due to how quickly

it slashes. Yeah, it's just like

really cool, got like a lightsaber style.

Look at this. Oh my god,

look at that blood buildup, blood loss.

Put different Ashes of War onto it if you

don't like Double Slash. Not really much

point putting Royal Knight's Resolve

because you just won't do much damage in

one hit. It's really more of a

repetitively striking weapon like that.

It's great for when you fight bosses and

the Mimic Summon is tanking the boss and

you just slash them up the backside. Look

at that, and then you've got jumping

heavy.

Oh, it looks so cool the way it just spins

like that. And then lastly we have Freya's

Greatsword. So I got this because I

accidentally attacked that NPC called

Freya and killed her, which meant I

couldn't do her questline. But I don't

know if that really matters because at the

end all the friendly helpers end up

attacking you anyway, so taking them out

before you get to that point would

actually reduce the amount of enemies that

start going for you. So you can infuse it

with anything you want. You can go for

Royal Knight's Resolve again, go for

Occult, which increases the amount of

physical damage it's going to do. And

yeah, it's a pretty cool weapon. Looks a

bit like Sword of Radahn with the

curvature. It doesn't really have like— I

mean, it did come with a default ash, but

it wasn't really interesting. The good

thing about this weapon is it's just like

good old-fashioned heavy slashing.

Heavy-duty 2-handed greatsword, can't

really go wrong with that. So let's see

how much damage I can do with Royal

Knight's Resolve. There we go,

2-handed, run up to him and

heavy slash. 6,000 damage, it's pretty

good. Might try like a fire build as well.

So the most damage I can do seems to be I

need to switch talismans first to— not

that one. I like— oh no, I like axe

talisman, two-handed sword talisman,

and maybe more

arcane. Yeah, okay, so see how much damage

do this time.

Oh, 7,346. Try again

here.

7,000. Maybe switch to a fire build this

time. I might be able to do more damage.

So for a fire build, what you want to do

is you want to put the

fire affinity Fire,

one just Physick, and you want the Fire

Shrouding and also the Oil Soaks Tear.

And you want to put on the fire talismans,

so you got— where is it— Fire

Scorpion. Okay, we're ready for fire. And

then you want to do Flame, Grant Me

and then Golden Vow.

And Wondrous Physick. Not yet though,

because Oil Soaked Tear doesn't last very

long, so you want to do it right here.

Royal Knight's Resolve, double-handed.

Oops, double-handed. Crouch. Now you want

to soak him with oil. Pretty like 10k

damage. Watch this. Oh, 11,000 damage!

I jumped over his thrusting spear.

Slash him. I can really do some amazing

damage, like 12,000. Watch this. Oh crap,

watch, watch this. Oh,

10,000. I didn't do a heavy attack. I

think I can't concentrate, cat keeps

I want to do that again because I did 11k

damage on a light attack when I supposed

to— I I don't know if I did a heavy attack

or not. Let's try again. I think I can get

12k damage, way more damage than the

occult build. Okay,

let's go again.

You got buffed so many things, like 5

buffs. Golden Vow, 1.

Flame Gourami Strength, 2.

Wondrous Physick Flask, 3.

Double-Handed, 4. Royal Knight's Resolve,

5. Crouch, 6. And charge up the heavy

attack.

10k. And then see if I get 11k.

Oh, nearly. It's not a crit, that's why.

I didn't soak him either. So we soak this

guy and do a heavy attack this time.

Might be able to get 12k. So he's soaked.

Oh, 10,963. It's pretty good.

Not my record though. My record is like

16,800. Watch this.

Oh, this weapon's so good. I don't know

why more people aren't talking about the

Freya's Greatsword.
