Ultimate Mercenary Explosive AoE DPS Build ｜ Path of Exile 2 Top Mercenary Leveling Guide (Lvl 30+)

explosive shot build for the Mercenary in

Path of Exile 2. Watch me blow these guys

all up. Oh my— oh,

legendary thing, whatever that is. I don't

have any room for it. Hold on, look at

this. I can fire 2 explosive shots at the

same time. Wait, I pressed the wrong

button. I hate it, you press U by

accident, it takes ages to get out of it.

What are these gears anyway? Uh,

let's see my legendary first. I got this.

Oh, I can't use it, but my minions would

have a 21% increased maximum life. And

minimum minions resistance equal to— it's

boring, I don't want that anyway. So this

build, I've got Explosive Shot, I've got

Scattershot on Explosive Shot, which gives

you 2 additional projectiles. So usually

this shoots 1 like this, just shoots 1,

but with Scattershot it shoots, shoots 3,

I think. Yeah, it shoots 3.

1, 2, 3. Jesus, it shoots 3. It's like a

grenade launcher and it shoots 3 of them,

but you get 20% less damage, which is fine

because you get 2 additional projectiles.

And I put Double Barrel so I can shoot 6

in a row before reloading. Watch, 6.

It's pretty damn good. So yeah, I guess

you can't put damaging buffs on it because

then you'd lose these 2 things which

really make it good, but As for the

skills, I've got Pierce, which goes

through enemies and also damages the enemy

it went through. I've got crossbow

ammunition damage buffs, and yeah, I don't

know what skills would be good for this

build because I don't have any extra skill

points. But anyway, it's really good just

as it is. Look, I can find a big group of

enemies like this. Watch, you just group

them up. And then just blow them up at

your feet like that.

Sometimes we don't have to reload because

we got a 15% chance to not reload because

of the passives.

I think this is even better than the

fragmentation shot build actually for

clearing out large groups of enemies.

Don't know how it would do against a boss,

but it seems pretty good.

It sets things on fire too, which is

pretty cool.

So I guess you could use it in combination

with the explosive grenade. Where is it?

Grenade.

Maybe I'll put this on it. Explosive

grenade, I'll put it here.

So what it does is the grenade takes quite

long to blow up, see, but if you chuck a

grenade and then shoot at it, it would

explode instantly. So the idea is you

chuck a load of grenades and then you do

an explosive shot and you get more

explosions.

Oh my god, I'm just destroying them.

This is pretty fun actually. I just want

more enemies. Why is it not giving me more

enemies? Usually they swarm you.

I still don't know how to open the minimap

so it's bigger. M doesn't open a map,

it opens like a weird menu.

Now I've got to run around this stupid

jungle trying

to find something to kill.

Oh God. Oh wow, 2 enemies.

It'll be nice if I can get a 3rd gem on it

that increases the area of damage, make

And then when I stop recording, suddenly

all these enemies come out of nowhere.

Oh, it's so nice when you chuck a grenade

as well. So this is a completely dead end.

God, I hate these maps in this game.

They're so annoying. There's no clear way

which way you're supposed to go, so just

randomly go in different directions until

you find the right way. And then there's

so many dead ends and ways you can get

traps like this. It's like playing

Pac-Man.

I'm just destroying everything. Look at

Oh, this one could be good. 30% chance to

pierce an enemy. Projectiles have 10%

chance to chain. I don't know if the

explosive shot pierces though.

I think something else for explosive shot

would be better.

Mm, attempts to increase projectile

damage. Is there

no explosive damage skill?

Uh, 12% increased grenade damage. I don't

know if Explosive Shot counts as a

grenade. Oh wait, oh wait,

where's Explosive Shot?
