Overview
Daniel spent New Year's Eve 2021 into 1 January 2022 broadcasting a long livestream from an apartment in Manchester, reviewing game development progress in GameMaker Studio, coding mechanics, testing sprites, and considering distribution through Steam, Patreon, or mobile.
Daniel adjusted clothing during the broadcast by trying on a maid dress, apron, and wig, noting OnlyFans subscriber earnings, viewer reception, and how concentrating on coding displaced previous preoccupations with dating apps and sexual encounters.
Daniel discussed personal finances, including selling losing stock positions such as BNGO, criticism of YouTube financial advice channels, and leaving remaining funds in equities long-term.
Daniel reviewed interpersonal relationships, noting communication issues with Essex Girl following revelations about sleeping with Pia, unsent messages and past history with Chihiro, and message exchanges on dating apps.
At midnight, Daniel watched extensive fireworks across Manchester, observed an emergency vehicle response on the street below, and contemplated safety and plans to travel to Scotland before concluding the stream as viewership dropped.
